I don't think they will change to a bump nose as they have as pat has said run this low nose for many season. It's looking like they will be the only team not running one. I think Redbull will run one but no doubting it will be the most aesthetically pleasing too.

So RB have gone for stepped nose - but doesnt seem as drastic....

The stepped nose is only on Webber's car. :hehe:

Not as bad a looking step as the Ferrari or the Sauber but not as sculpted as the Force India or the Renault.

Something interesting going on with the nose bump that the others with bumps don't seem to have, yet.

OMG, a real specialty from Red Bull, again! That bump is so strange... :)

I think the key will be tyres this year, not aerodynamics. Providing the Redbull isn't so far ahead of the rest of the grid again; strategy and driver skill might take over.

aero of course affects the how the car runs the tyres.

I think that many will copy this little bump-wing during the season...

McLaren won't be :hehe: I don't think many teams will, again this Redbull version probably creates a bit of downforce but the flow to the cars floor is more important than this piece alone.

Crap video player in my browser was a bit jumpy but it looks like instead of just a sloping surface they've got a bit of a lip overhanging where the drop is.

What if McLaren's much slower than the rest of teams with that bump?

Mark Hughes says the bump will make the car use its front wing and underneath more efficiently giving more downforce (but not a huge gain) but the more the front wing is worked, the more oversensitive it will become making it less raceable. Hughes was using this as an example of going in the wrong direction in terms of racing spectacle.
What Im now thinking is could the McLaren have a slightly less aero efficient but more raceable car?
