A little preview pic.....

Oh, I didn't know LH has such a long neck that his head sticks out that much. Or is it b/c he's got a big head in general? :hehe:

It's all perspective... he needs a smaller can than Schumacher.

This better for you mean critical people.

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh says Lewis Hamilton's decision to move to Mercedes is a "mistake".

"For anyone leaving McLaren, and he wants to win, I think that's a mistake because I have faith and belief in this team.

"Whether you measure it over the last four races, four years or 40 years, we're a fantastic team."

He BETTER be right for his job's sake. Because if Mercedes trump McLaren in the next two years with Lewis at the wheel, I think MW will be looking for new work.

That to me reads like sour grapes. Any success measured over the last 4 years or 4 races can be heavily attributed to LH. Now his hardball tactics didnt work he is mouthing off.

The bloke is a grade 1 plum.

Nico Rosberg has been assured of equal status alongside Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes next year, AUTOSPORT has learned.

Mercedes has pulled off a coup in luring Hamilton away from McLaren, as it bids to ramp up its efforts to win the world championship in the next few years.

Although Hamilton is a star signing for Mercedes, and carries hopes of gunning for the title, sources have revealed that he will not be given number one status at the team.

Instead, it has been made clear to both the Briton and Rosberg that they will be treated equally - and both will have the same chance of gunning for glory.

Rosberg proved himself more than capable of taking on top-line opposition when he showed well alongside Michael Schumacher over the past two-and-a-half years.

The German took Mercedes' first pole position as a modern works team in China and duly delivered its first victory in China.

Writing on Twitter on Friday, Rosberg said he was excited about the prospect of racing alongside Hamilton.

"Very cool that Lewis will be my new team-mate!," he said. "Gonna be another great challenge!"

And thats as it should be. lewis doesnt want number one, just equal and fair treatment. He and Nico are good friends, making lewis number 1 would spoil that. He's number one if he wins and Nico should have equal shot. lewis would want it no other way.

So when Jenson can't find grip in his set up next year, I wonder if they'll be turning to Perez' set up as a foundation.

Yeah but LH didn't raced on his foot....McL gave him a car able to win, which I doubt it'll be the case with Mercs :hehe: I see him next year struggling to enter Q3 and fighting with saubers and force Indias :whip:

p.s. A driver never oudrives a car he just drives it to its limits

Yeah but you were really mean to lewis and you blew it. You didnt make it so fantastic for him because you couldnt see beyond Jenson. Now hes gone . So boo hoo.

Really mean to Lewis?

What do you think this is a school playground?

Paying him millions of dollars, babying him before he was a teenager, molding and shaping him into a solid driver, only to have him leave them for a lower rank team. News flash, they aren't going to let him run the show at Merc either. They give equal treatment to their drivers as well. Don't confuse reliability issues or choices as race setup as favoring one driver over the other.

Schumi and Rubens was as clear as day a 1/2 situtation. McLaren wasn't. You have a self-fulfilling prophecy that McLaren was out to get Lewis sense Jenson.

Fact is, he went to a struggling team, that was showing signs of improvement, has much more reliability issues than McLaren has had since 2010. When you have teams like Sauber chomping at your constructor points, you know you are doing something wrong or not doing enough of something else.
