I feel If there was ever a camel/straw moment between Lewis and McLaren it was the wing at Spa.

I dunno, did you see how he reacted when he was out at singapore?

The closest I saw him to that was in 2010 at Monza or Spain, I cant' remember which he got a puncture at the last lap.

When I started watching f1 seriously in 2010, when I saw the petronas logo I was like, why do they have something from harry potter on their car? LOL.

Then I took 5 seconds to google it, and was let down.

It's all perspective... he needs a smaller can than Schumacher.

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh says Lewis Hamilton's decision to move to Mercedes is a "mistake".

"For anyone leaving McLaren, and he wants to win, I think that's a mistake because I have faith and belief in this team.

"Whether you measure it over the last four races, four years or 40 years, we're a fantastic team."

He's not wrong. It's not like Senna leaving when he could clearly see a possibility for greener pastures.

Nico Rosberg has been assured of equal status alongside Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes next year, AUTOSPORT has learned.

Mercedes has pulled off a coup in luring Hamilton away from McLaren, as it bids to ramp up its efforts to win the world championship in the next few years.

Although Hamilton is a star signing for Mercedes, and carries hopes of gunning for the title, sources have revealed that he will not be given number one status at the team.

Instead, it has been made clear to both the Briton and Rosberg that they will be treated equally - and both will have the same chance of gunning for glory.

Rosberg proved himself more than capable of taking on top-line opposition when he showed well alongside Michael Schumacher over the past two-and-a-half years.

The German took Mercedes' first pole position as a modern works team in China and duly delivered its first victory in China.

Writing on Twitter on Friday, Rosberg said he was excited about the prospect of racing alongside Hamilton.

"Very cool that Lewis will be my new team-mate!," he said. "Gonna be another great challenge!"
