I spent over £800 on my wife's 50th birthday gift and she accused me of being unromantic. Women!

Did you buy her a new cooker

No. (She doesn't cook much. Dr like me)

I bought her 4 brand new Pirelli tyres for her Saab Convertible. Pirelli, damn it! How can that be unromantic and thoughtless?
(I even assured her that would not degrade like the F1 Pirellis)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! TYRES???

Sorry man, can't blame your wife on this one.:rofl::rofl:

What's next, a turbo for her engine? (Sorry couldn't resist!!!!)

A Saab convertible would be a wonderful gift!!. But tyres to go on it once you've got the car. No. Especially Pirelli!! She probably thinks you're trying to bump her off!! :hehe:

Well, let's not overlook the obvious here... You way overpaid for tires, especially a set of Pirellis. That plus the fact that the wife deserves Michelin.

How is this for the greatest most romantic thing you ever heard......

For our 4 year wedding anniversary last night I wore the actual socks and pants I wore on my wedding day.

Yeah baby. Thats how I roll.....

Have they been washed since or are the skidmarks 4 years old?

On the subject of pants...can I ask you guys , if you were going on holiday for 14 days, how many pairs of pants would you take?

Agreed. However I would imagine a female would have to factor in luna cycles

Although it depends where I'm going. If it's a two week beach holiday I might reduce it to 7 pairs, as I'd only be wearing them for a few hours in the evening, and wearing swim shorts the rest of the time, so you could double up.

Well you could quarter that. Normal way
Back to front
Inside out
Inside out and back to front.

Depends where you're going. If it's somewhere that you are likely to get chronic dihoriahihay I'd pack an entire suitcase and a holdall to be on the safe side. If it's somewhere safe, divide the number of days away by 4 (see Jabber's post). if it's somewhere hot and safe I'd say go commando.

Mmm. Im packing for a two week holiday. I'd normally say 28. But it's mainly a beach holiday, so like LRW says, I've factored it down to 21. I was just curious what you guys would do. So Andrew, its about 4 prs for you then? Unless you're electing diarrhoea .

Don't overpack!! Take 4 or 5 pairs that are permanent press/wash and wear!
That way, "if" necessary is give them a rinse and hang them to dry while you're out!!
