I wonder if any of Schumies significant following amongst the tifosi clicked the Mercedes like button

Is that a serious question requiring an answer, or are you just being your usual self? :wavey:

It's as serious as asking if Schumies following are contributing to Mercs current increase in likes :wavey:

I wasn't referring to the increase, just the total. If it is legitimate to refer to McLarens numbers as representative of those who forgot to unlike Lewis after he left, it is legitimate to consider the same for Schumi and Mercedes.

Ah ok, I get ya

However it's clear that Mercs likes will have increased if only because they improved so much whereas McLarens are not likely to have increased. If they haven't decreased it could be like RC said, moved on fans not unliking

All conjecture of course but we can see a similar pattern in the twitter stats I provided elsewhere

Now all you have to do is describe it to us, RC. Inside and out, back to front :P

Thats just a 3d schematic. For each team I'm sure the actual packaging and arrangement of each bit will be vastly different

Yep, that reveals nothing which is the point. The one which spanky posted, I saw it earlier on my timeline and thought they'd show the inner workings as an animation and felt let down with what they showed...nothing.

Merc just went on track with their machine.

Mercedes hits the track with 2014 car

Mercedes has put the first 40km on its 2014 car by completing a filming day at Silverstone.

Nico Rosberg was behind the wheel of the new W05, giving it a shakedown in cold but dry conditions. The car left the garage at 14.21 in the afternoon and completed 40km before dusk at 16.30.

Under the current testing restrictions, teams are allowed to complete filming days on demonstration tyres, but the running will have been useful to start to weed out basic teething issue ahead of its public track debut in Jerez on Tuesday. The team also confirmed that its drivers would spend alternate days at the wheel next week, starting with Lewis Hamilton on Tuesday.

The team confirmed the W05 in question was a "full 2014 specification Formula One car".

I thought they couldn't do promotional stuff until after testing. That's a sneaky way of doing it.
