:rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl:

What do the broadsheets know about F1 you silly muppet, do you think the reporter was even there??

Why not dig out what Autosport say, or James Allen, you think the Guardian has time to explain that there was no deg at all for the top 3 drivers in the second half of the race, go away and learn the finer details of F1 before wasting my goodwill - You dont even have a clue about what deg is

But hey each to there own, have your opinion, and i agree with you on one thing Nico is faster than Lewis sometimes, he has a faster setup than Lewis sometimes, but so far it has meant sweet nada - lewis can start anywhere and beat Nico, even with a slower car - because he has a better racing intellect - defending using different lines, attach using stealth and guile - Nico doesnt have any of this, he tries the same tactics lap after lap, when defending he has to leave the track etc etc, So praise the WDC leader thumbup:

Were you there cookin?

ps. JA also called Rosberg's feat astonishing.

I wasnt there but I rely on the data that was beamed live - this is more useful to an informed observer than siting track side with a limited view and no understanding of the data is to a muppet. Nico did well, amazing even, he was very fast, he didnt crash, he even overtook a few people. Nico is very fast - Anyone of the top 5 drivers in the WDC table could have done what Rosberg did in that Merc but only one could do the things Rosberg hasnt done

However in a different league is his teammate - his last to beat polesitter Nico drive - that was really amazing. Nico is a fast driver, cant really setup his car himself, doesnt really have racecraft more like a press and pray type brain

Anyways losers back losers

Its pathetic how the haters go to such lengths in defending a driver who came 2nd after he screwed up all on his own by making probbaly the biggest mistake of the race.

While the leader who has never been beaten on pace all season long or has been using lesser fuel and lesser deg all season long is suddenly though to have put in a lesser drive just because he cruised to win by 17 od seconds. Truly astonishing the level of bias and idiotic judgement in this forum.

The points standing still doesn't reflect the true story, Hamilton being 1 DNF extra and being KO'ed while leading in Spa....and still leading the tally with more than double the wins of his teammate.

Haters gonna hate.

I believe this is the quote to which you refer:

Image...With savage vibrations from his flat spotted tyres, Rosberg was forced to pit at the end of lap one for a new set of medium tyres. Astonishingly from 20th place he managed to come through without stopping again for 52 laps to finish in second place...

astonishingly - because the tyres had no deg

when sagi turns up to take sides, its always obvious which way its gone

To be fair if an esteemed informed observer can't predict things, how is a gimp like Nico meant to?

Hardly any deg for Lewis, Bottas has run into deg now, but I doubt Nico will keep 3rd with those tyres

why is the cerebral Nico doing purples on 37 lap old tyres when bottas with 15 lap old tyres is behind him?b If Nico has to change tyres he will have done the dumbeest thing ever

They feel good for now eh Nico, ever heard of the cliff?

:rofl::rofl: that the best you can do play actor?

so these are my comments live during the race, with the timing data to go by and team radio - lets have a look

Hardly any deg for Lewis, Bottas has run into deg now, but I doubt Nico will keep 3rd with those tyres

no deg for Lewis, Bottas ran into deg/issues on his soft tyres in first stint - we have his testimony - big fail for you, so during the race I exopected Nico to encounter deg and have to pit?? s0 did Nico -:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: and he was driving - so big fail for you

why is the cerebral Nico doing purples on 37 lap old tyres when bottas with 15 lap old tyres is behind him?b If Nico has to change tyres he will have done the dumbeest thing ever

see previous, if nico encounters deg - because this is the first race in about 5 years that no one on the podium suffered any deg at the end of the race, note the if - if nico has to change HE WILL have - he didnt - he was drivingm, I was watching - so BIG fail for you again

They feel good for now eh Nico, ever heard of the cliff?

see above, he was driving, he had no deg so he carried on, he shold have gone even quicker

So whats your point playactor?

I like those old expressions like a flock of geese, or birds of a feather, i always wonder what a collection of people who stick together, who are always wrong, never change, always pick the wrong option, and always support losers

A Culpa of losers

I mean this is pure class

 is this a trick question? can a culpa actually break the mould???????

My point? That you now talk about degredation like it was a known factor, when it wasn't. You're all over the shop. He should have driven faster because there was no deg, even though we didn't know that during the race? Should we have a re-run after lap one and see how everyone goes? So what If Bottas ran into issues? Different driver, different car, different strategy. Your comments predict a cliff that never came because it was reasonable to assume a cliff was coming, then you criticise Nico because there was no cliff and he should have gone faster. JA was complimenting Nico on doing what other failed to. He had neither tyre nor fuel issues. He wasn't saying it was just astonishing his tyres lasted, it goes hand in hand with how Nico drove.

If they had a smiley for rhetorical questions I'd break a general rule just so you didn't get too confused.

The last race Nico beat Lewis while both cars were reliable through the weekend was in Austria. :hehe:

Lewis is also the only guy on the grid to have finished on the podium every time he's completed a race.
#421757
I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Which is where my points about mental weakness and being a bit ragged come from. .

Careful, you'll take someone's eye out with all that rhetoric. There's a difference between saying he's weak and has a weakness.

There seems to be a point up to which you agree with me but refuse to put it down to a mental thing. So, what causes Hamilton to do this.

"The mental strength from Lewis to come back and take the win was unbelievable. In the end two mistakes from Nico have cost him. He put on a brave face but when he goes home and reflects on this he will know he has been well beaten."

I never said it was a weakness. I went at great lengths to explain that, and you went to equal lengths ignoring it.

Now find where I said Nico was stronger mentally.

It's gutting, I get that. But I realise Hamilton has a psychological weakeness that Nico's exploiting by proxy, and it's pointless denying it.

we've seen this before in Hamilton, this psychological weakness we pretend is misfortune.

I just let you prove yourself wrong about something you thought I said months ago, you mean?

You dug your own hole there.
:thumbup::whip::whip:

and for bonus culpa points

It can't be assumed that Vettel is the same person as he was in 2010, and the resulting crowns have probably altered his mental state that goes along with natural skill. His mental toughness and avarice (and ridiculously quick car) have probably delivered where his racecraft is lacking.

If you're going to use a term like 'psychobabble mumbo jumbo' you're not doing yourself any favours. I could pull a cookie and say, 'How do you know I've never mentioned mental weaknesses for button and ms? i'll give you odds of five gajillion to one paid in red buttons if you can't find anything.'

and there we have it - the audit trial for all future F1 fans interested in the Lewis v Nico debate to see how not to treat your backbone and integrity in the electronic era
