we both clearly got there from martin brundle. and as spanky ham pointed out earlier, he was wrong. read the thread.

oh and its still gonna be down on power now isnt it .

I quoted the actual regulations back on page 13 or so. I'm not sure how everything got so far off-track. But nevermind.

It's a brand new engine. How will it be down on power?

With it being difficult to overtake in Singapore, Ferrari may well turn the wick of the engine down, preserving the maximum amount of freshness for subsequent races?

the one which wasn't blown

Yeah, had a feeling something was going to happen. Difficult to call who's fault it was as am sure Hamilton thought he had the line into the next corner, and is always hard to see where the car behind is.

Hamilton's out....This pretty much seals his fate as far as the driver's championship is concerned....

agree with you there, title hopes faded today, pretty sure about that. it's a shame

wow total bs

seriously that was crap but hey its racin' right?

However, keep your hopes up no matter which guy you're rooting for...

You still get 0 points for a DNF
You still get 25 points for first place

Like I eluded to in an earlier post...Ferrari and Fernando are shaping up to look like geniuses now

Yes, Massa was hurt by team orders but everybody knows Alonso is Ferrari's boy...and he's got speed...a whole lot of it

Mr. 2 times is now in a position to be Mr. 3 times

And Mr. 1 time Hamilton is in a spot to make way for another soon-to-be 1 timer in Mark Webber

Let us not forget Button and Vettel

Wow...what an amazing season it is shaping out to be

I'm pissed but hey rubbin is racin' and there will be some real drama in the remainder of the schedule!

Well anything can happen, and of course Ferrari still have engine woes to contend with.

If McLaren was fast enough to fight for poles and wins every race I wouldn't give up my hopes so quickly but let's be honest, they don't have the car to beat Ferrari right now. Ferrari has reliability, whole focus is on Alonso and their tactics have been pretty much spot on lately. Of course there's a chance for Lewis to win but it needs at least 1 DNF for Webber Alonso and Vettel, which I can't see happening

Yup...During the start of the season, it was red bull and mclaren who was dominating...Ferrari seems to have figured out the the perfect setup for alonso during the last few races.....Red bull has the fastest car but the Ferrari cars aren't that far behind...

On Monza's thread weeks ago, it was being made obvious to the point of certainty by some that the last 6 races were insignificant as Webber has it closed, I said wait and see :)
Nor is Alonso fav nor is Webber, its still open. hope those guys will be sensible now.

Webber is lucky to get away with 3rd place. The amount to crashes the Red Bull drivers have been involved in, makes 1 point a certainty, They are more at fault than others when crashes are concerned this season.

Loved Heikki's firefighting action :hehe:
