I never favour any driver over another, and there isn't a driver that I have any problem with, except one, but I always like it when Webber wins.

I think that keeping him out was the only option they had to get in front of Alonso. And knowing they were quicker than Alonso made it crucial. They knew they would prance away from the Ferrari and anyway it's high time they quit favouring Vettel.

why did they just not tell him why when he was in the car. at lease he would of gone "oh well yep my bad" instead of getting all upset

'cos this is Seb, if they'd told him in the car he wouldnt just have gone "oh well my bad" he would have cried even harder and probably crashed. They were having to calm him down as it was.I think they wanted an arm round him when he dealt with it.

Yeah, and I've noticed this season there has been alot of that, in several teams, where the guy on the wall has to calm the driver down over the radio. FIA daycare.

You always bash Germans. All i can say is 4-1.

Dunno who your talking too but the person that posted above is Canadian not English :hehe:

p.s surely you can't think Schuey done right ,can you ?

No I wasnt talking about the Schumi incident this weekend. That was childish. But she is always going on and on about Schumi and Vettel every week.

Racechick,
You are always bashing Germans. Why? Does 4-1 ring a bell?

No its not Germans(its Schumacher, Vettel and Alonso). I really like Suthil, Nico, Glock and Nick-both Nick's.
Its personality not nationality-just happens two are German. But there's more Germans on my like list than my dislike list.

But while we're talking numbers 5-1 ring a bell :D

5-1 in a game that was qualifying and both teams ended up making the WC. Im sure you would rather have the 4-1 in the knockout stage of the WC than the qualifying match that didnt matter(qualifying wise). Especially when David James said before the game that he was glad he was playing Germany instead of Ghana.
 Back to F1, it just seems that you are always on those two and those two only

Im not really into football, I just remember that game because i was on holiday in Turkey, there were a lot of German tourists in one bar watching the match and a lot of Dutch and Brits in one acros the road. Cheers went up from across the road when the first goal was scored , then five from our side for the next goals. Thats why i remember it.
But you have us on football, it seems we consistently underperform

But agen back to F1-I can assure you Alonso is right up there with Schumacher and Vettel. I would never like or dislike someone because of their nationality and feel slightly irked by the suggestion. I can give you reasons by the bucketload why i dont like those three if you want-non of it to do with where they live/were born/parents came from.

Same with the ones I like. Its Lewis by a country mile but not becuase he's British, becuase of his driving. Before him it was Montoya(and thats when Jens was driving as well) And my next favourites after Lewis is Webber,Massa , Suthil and Im really going onto Petrov. :)

For Webber yes.
but i dont think keeping him out was in anyway favouring Vettel. They just did it because Webber was the one in need of an alternate strategy to get around Alonso.

If Vettel hadnt got the penalty he would not have been behind Fernando and Webber would not have pulled the 20sec gap on him. Red Bull made a good strategy for both the drivers considering Webber was 3rd after turn 1. They just didnt count on Vettel deliberately holding the guys up on the restart and getting penalised.

i agree with f1ea think keeping webber out was a good strategy by red bull, he was fast enough to create a big enough gap for a pit stop and they seemed to be happy with the tyre wear, massa ended up losing a place to hamilton because he had to do a slow in lap to stop him queueing in the pit lane, the only driver i dislike is alonso for being a spoilt brat, but i also think Schumacher needs to be more carefull, he could have seriously hurt Barrichello

That's what I'm saying. They didn't favour Vettel. It's high time.
