Lewis was in the wrong yeh but only marginaly and it ruined what could of a great battle for the lead.

I am proud of you saying Lewis made a mistake. Mclaren/Lewis made the best of the position that they where in after that :)

I don't know what punishments are avalible for that infrigment but if there was a lesser one.

i.e a fine they should of given him that.

Alonso and Ferrari are upset yeh but they lost position because of the safty car, not because Lewis manged to pass it.

As long as Barrichello keeps his 4th place my day is now complete.:drink:

Shame for the Hulk to drop out so late on, but bring on the blown diffuser!!

Monumental f--k up :irked:

And yet another example of why the new teams should be at least reasonably on the pace. Next one will be fatal. :irked:

:censored:

it was a racing incident. what if it had been mercedes with it's dodgy brakes who had to brake at that point?

TBH FIA the Stewards need to sort their sh*t out. look at what Alonso says yes he's angry at Hamilton but he's even more angry at the stewards it shouldn't take 20 laps to give out the penalty. Look at the 9 cars currently under investigation if they have broken the rules give them the penalty during the race not investigate it after the race. This is bad for the sport bad for the fans.

Yes Hamilton broke the rules I think he did this unintentionally and his hesitation was trying to work out if he could overtake or not he missed the SC line by a couple of metres. Ironically if he hadn't of hesitated he would of overtaken legally and would of not got the penalty, he may of been able to challenge Vettel for the win.

[EDIT] I do think the penalty was fair rules are rules.

Lewis did it unintentionally imo, he really hesitated before he took action and wasn't quite sure but Alonso makes it sound like Lewis overtook safety car while it was in front of him on the track, the safety car wasn't on track YET and it was really 50/50. Alonso would have made the same move, pretty sure of it.

So far Buemi, Petrov, Liuzzi, Hulkenberg all get no penalty from the Stewards.

Well thats good news!! I dont think any of them did anything to warrant a penalty.

Really happy for Kamui and Peter Sauber, was great seeing them in the pits cheering on the drivers, really glad both of them finished in the top ten :D

Kobayashi really showed the same sort of stuff as he did at the end of last season, i just hope Sauber can get some more sponsorship!
