The question still remains why was a penalty not given to Hammy immediately? If a 25sec penalty is given for the next race an accident or SC will negate said time penalty so whats the point of even giving him one now :irked::rolleyes: .

Perhaps Whiting aswell as Todt are recieving a per diem from Whitmarsh?

as said, he won't get a 25second penalty. IF he gets a penalty, it will be a grid-penalty. Pit lane incident is 50/50 in my mind, but the scene after the safety car was nothing but a race situation, Lewis had nowhere to go because Vettel was RIGHT beside him and Webber took a bad line..

I hope Hamilton isn't penalised purely for a lack of superhuman reflexes in a lollipop man..

It was a pretty close call, would be harsh i think to penalise for a fraction of a second pit release difference. Its not like Vettel was already in the lane when Hamilton was released.

but if he does get done for it he will get a 5 or 10 grid place penalty for the next round.

If they do, they are punishing him because of the amount of wheel spin he got which I think is bollox.

If he had no wheel spin coming out of the box he would have been in front of Vettel no problem.

Are you all just blind or blinded by the presumption that McLaren can do no wrong? First Lewis decides to make his own pit entry lane which was blatantly obvious, Alonso did the same and should have been penalised aswell, and then Lewis drives through the pit lane in a blatantly unsafe and illegal manner simply because he was beaten out of the pits regardless if it was by a fraction of a second.

Are we having fun yet because I can go on and on and on and on and on......

You're being a sook Tex! Anyone can see that it was a close call on it being a dangerous release! So why can't you?
I know a McLaren 1-2 is upsetting to Ferrari lambs but cmon deal with it!

In fact those pit entrances where complete legal. About the exit, and Button when SC leaved... that's another point...

According to the F1 forum on the BBC a decision has been made in the stewards room. We will wait to see what that is!
