Im currently in my second season, driving for Red Bull Racing, teaming with Vettel. I am currently leading this championship. I've only done the short race weekend. My reputation is currently 24, and I hope to drive for McLaren next season. My setting is Medium, where I have the race lines in the corners only and no break assist.. I also changed from Analog to button. I wondered if my trailor and Agent would change once I move on to the top team?

You were hired as #1 driver for RBR in the first season? It's strange because it seems that Webber is the number one in RBR(in the game, of course).

I didn't understand your question though...

The game seems to have vettel as number 1 and I am number 2.. I have won the second season and moving to McLaren next season, number 2 to lewis. Im currently racing suzuka, which I will win. I won a record of 8 races in a row.. they brought up Senna after I won..

Moving teams, doesn't change your paddock area that much.. Making nothing, and now making 14.5 mill a year, I expected some changes...

McLaren were holding out on a contract offer after everyone gave one.. I had to wait a few races for them to come around.. :hehe:

So, just done my first race for Sauber in Bahrain. Pretty good, raced my way up to 2nd place with a lot of luck, however...

Even with the engine map set to standard, which was my only option, I still got in to the super-low fuel stage coming down the straight towards the final corner. What gives?

So I am finally driving for McLaren and guess what.. Since I am driving for Jenson Button pairing with Lewis, I get to have Jensons #1 on my car.. Excellent... My agent just told me, "Since you are retiring, there will be no contract offers this year." I forgot I signed up for 3 seasons. :hehe:

With the money I pay her, she could have at least got a different wardrobe.. She's dressed like the Fonz... "AAAahhhhhyyy"

Got it (for PC).

its difficult!! as i havent played racing games in over 2 yrs and I am using a PS-USB controller (i was used to the Xbox). So far have only raced about 15 laps in Bahrain practice... 14 secs off the leader, driving a Toro Rosso. Is that hopeless??

EDIT: Oh... i was on medium difficulty and assists were most off. I think i needed some traction control and abs. I am now only 5 secs off.

ok so i'm not hopeless... but the learning curve is steep. I'm much better at the actual race, except for the occasional spin after hitting a kerb wrong.

The pit lane bug is a MAJOR issue though :(

I have found that as well. in Q I am well off the pace, in the race can usually make up a lot of places. not done a race long enough for a pitstop to happen yet so I am sure I will find out.

Just bought this game today on PS3, damn its hard with the hand controller. 1st season in Lotus, and just managed a personal best of 15th place at Spa
Very difficult to learn and keep getting penalty's lol.

I am back and forth between Gran Turismo and F1 2010.

1. I love the speed of F1 2010
2. Weather on F1 2010 far exceeds weather on GT5 in realism
3. Overall Graphics are better on GT5

I've played this game so much over Christmas. GT5 is just gathering dust atm.

The patch helped the AI and pitstops a bit. Still pretty poor though in these areas, hopefully F1 2011 doesn't have these issues.

I noticed the PC version has tons of mods for it now. Check out the Lotus Renault!

I like how it says "Final" even though it's not a 2011 Renault GP, and is in fact just a 2010 Renault F1 with the new colours.

I think the guy who was doing it (fan made) had gone as far as he was willing to go with it.

Are most of you guys using wheels or controller? I've been using the Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel and pedals. Cheap wheel I know, I got it when I got the game because it was the only wheel they had in the shop - no force feedback or vibration which I think is essential for feel in racing games! I'll likely get a new one sometime soon. either way, this is my current setup, using the wheel, pedals and the speedblack stand for attaching it all to. Having everything in the correct position for driving makes such a difference!!
