Speaking of surprises....
What a surprising line up. Which shows again, i am the worst predictor ever! :D

Great drive by Fisi, i was definitely rooting for Foce India there at the end. It must be a special feeling for the team.
Well done by Kimi and definitely Jarno. Interestingly, both front row'ers are 'unclear' within their teams for next yr...

Stunning track! great track! :D:D i love Spa. :cloud9:

All of the top six are uncertain about drives next year. Well, Raikkonen not so much, but there are still questions.

I'm starting to feel really sorry for Badoer :(

He's getting paid to drive a Ferrari F1 car all week, why are you feeling sorry for the man?

Yeah he's making himself look a fool, but he clearly isn't bothered.

He went from 1.5 seconds off 19th in Valencia to 0.6 here at Spa. If Ferrari do hold onto him for Monza he may well be on the pace then.

those are the fueled times, i think he was 1.8 off the outright fastest :P

An interesting line up. I don't think Force India's performance is totally out of the blue. They've been threatening to do something for a while now, though not perhaps on this scale. I think I agree with Brundle that they are probably running on a solid amount of fuel, as they had decent pace throughout the session. Does anybody know what happened to Sutil, though?

Both Red Bull drivers made a couple of mistakes, but their cars weren't too much faster anyway. Once again, Brawn are being gifted the title, as every time they drop the ball, Red Bull are letting them off. In my opinion, rather the being more interesting and exciting, the title battle has descended to the stuff of farce. The performances of both Brawn and Red Bull are risible.

From a McLaren point of view, it's no big surprise where the team find themselves. If the aerodynamics were a little better, McLaren would be a lot higher up the grid, as the team's pace in first and last sectors is pretty good. Still, I think Hamilton has a chance of getting a couple of points because of KERS.

Of the top four, Heidfeld and Trulli are heavier and seem to have the best strategy. Barrichello is the lightest, with Fisi next. If Heidfeld can jump Trulli at the start, this race could be his.

1. Fisichella Force India-Mercedes 648.0
2. Trulli Toyota 656.5
3. Heidfeld BMW-Sauber 655.0
4. Barrichello Brawn-Mercedes 644.5
5. Kubica BMW-Sauber 649.0
6. Raikkonen Ferrari 655.0
7. Glock Toyota 648.5
8. Vettel Red Bull-Renault 662.5
9. Webber Red Bull-Renault 658.0
10. Rosberg Williams-Toyota 670.0
11. Sutil Force India-Mercedes 678.5*
12. Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 693.5*
13. Alonso Renault 684.4*
14. Button Brawn-Mercedes 694.2*
15. Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes 697.0*
16. Buemi Toro Rosso-Ferrari 685.0*
17. Alguersuari Toro Rosso-Ferrari 704.5*
18. Nakajima Williams-Toyota 706.1*
19. Grosjean Renault 704.7*
20. Badoer Ferrari 691.5*

i dunno, i just cant see Trulli winning. I wouldnt be surprised to see him just outside the top 3 or 4

It would be excellent if Rubens won tomorrow and Button didn't score.

However in seeing his weight, I doubt that'll happen for Rubens unless he can get past Heidfeld and the Choo-Choo at the start.
