Jensonb every post of yours is filled with sarcasm or smart arse comments so i guess youre cute too :wavey: and if you werent so busy trying to hatch a smart arse comment you would find my posts intent was infact what youre trying to say right now.

Well I just re-read it all. And I fail to see your point. I said Brawn would have a leap (As in, as well), you retorted that the other teams would too, and I pointed out that Brawn were in front already the point being they would still be after all that. You then sarcastically commented "what a comeback", which implies it's a weak argument. So exactly what have I missed?

youve missed it

you were talking up Brawns said to have a massive leap in Spain (from an engine cover mind you :hehe: ) and all i pointed out is that every team is said to have a massive leap in Spain. So you would think the current status quo is set to remain. Then again you do not know the leaps some of the other teams are going to be bringing.

All bickering aside I look forward to Spain especially if all the gossip from the teams having said they have something new, should be a nail biter.

I actually think it will be different this year. I mean, even before it started raining, Malaysia was pretty good.

No, actually, I was talking about the sidepods.

Anyway, in that case that whole exchange was for nothing because you were agreeing with me. Sorry to have argued with you unnecessarily and about the sarcasm line, but you could have made it clearer if you'd actually said what you meant instead of just making a vague comment and phrasing it in a contradictory manner.

And yes, I do know that in isolation my comment could have been misinterpreted as suggesting an increase in the advantage, but that's why I put in a quote to contextualise it as being about he development rates.

I look forward to every race yet Spain is supposed to be the race that most teams will have new concepts on their cars. I'm not all anal and opinionated about tracks I just want to see F1 racing, I keep it simple and do not over analize, oops I said anal twice :hehe: .

Hopefully. If not we always have the prospect of the continuing saga of ferrari and mcLaren cockups!

I agree, but the chicane before the final corner still pisses me off. I'm not kidding, everytime they show it I get mad. :hehe:

Probably not half as mad as I get when I see the final corner at Spa... :(

FIA want to now look at this interview by Whitmarsh
Transcript of the interview (with Trulli having finished third, ahead of Hamilton):

Ted Kravitz: Well Martin, I spoke to you at the beginning of the race and you said you'd be satisfied with a point - you got more than that!

Martin Whitmarsh: Yes Lewis did a great job, so did the team, a great stop at the end. Infact there's some debate over whether it's a third place at the moment given that Trulli fell off and repassed under a safety (safety car conditions) but anyway, whatever, it was a solid result and obviously it relied on a bit of attrition. We know the car's not quick enough yet, we've got to do a lot more work, we'll be doing that in the coming races but Lewis and the team did a great job in the circumstances today.

TK: Okay so just explain that at the end - what happened? Because I'm not sure we saw that, why isn't Lewis third?

MW: Well, at the end - under the safety car - Trulli fell off onto the grass and Lewis had no choice but to go past him, he's not on the racing circuit. Trulli then retook the place under the safety car which ordinarily you wouldn't do, so I know that the FIA are looking at it at the moment and doubtless we'll have a ruling in due course.

TK: Okay but, you would normally expected then Lewis to have taken that place and it could be six points.

MW: Well, we would - that's our position at the moment but we'll see what happens in the coming minutes or hours.

I actually have a feeling we might see one for a change this year. When was the last time we had a good race there when it didn't rain? 1991, the first time the race was held there!

In other years there have only been "novelties" during the race to prop up any interest, such as Schumi getting stuck in 5th gear, Johnny Herbert driving off with the jack still in the back of his car, one of Heidfeld's wheel nuts falling off and being picked up by a Toyota mechanic, Schumi's pitstop disasters in 2000 when he ran over Nigel Stepney's foot, Hakkinen's cruel luck when his engine blew on the last lap whilst leading etc etc etc
