Well, it certainly doesn't look like that. At McLaren, there is mass cull of the management taking place, whilst Hamilton - the guilty party - stands safely aside.

And looks for get outs.

Precisely.

Both parties are as guilty as each other Lewis is part of the team and the Team lied.

Another point to make is this?
If Hamilton escapes this incident unscathed, what does it mean for the rest of his career?
Surely it is tainted?
Any team boss will take a look at him and think, if we ever need to try to discipline him his family will issue the "We will Quit" threat.

If they stand aside is because McLaren wishes so. Think about it.

Have we actualy had a statment from Anthony or Lewis re him quitting?

No.

There's no smoke without fire. Theses stories in being reported in serious papers and we know full well from previous experience what Hamilton's like. Working on the principle of reasonable believe, Hamilton is guilty of looking for an exit strategy from McLaren. Despite Hamilton's show of disloyalty, the McLaren is pulling itself apart to keep him.

Fernando quit Renault, Schumacher quit Benneton, Kimi quit McLaren, Button quit Williams and quit Bar and went back  , well he did lots of quitting. Senna? Mansell? Prost? Why the big deal about Hamilton? Who incidentally hasnt quit anything yet!

Don't believe everything the media says.

Rumors are rumors, and the media will do anything to keep traffic into their websites, people reading their papers, or Bernie smiling gleefully at all the coverage F1 is getting these days thanks to this brouhaha.

I give up. The sheer unwillingness from some of you to accept that Lewis is at least as guilty as Dave and that they should be punished equally beggars belief. The fact that I'm actually seeing arguments that "Lewis is part of McLaren and McLaren is being punished so that's enough" is unbelievable. What was Dave? A contractor?

Piece of advice, never assume anyone is perfect. You're only going to be disappointed.

Think about it. Alonso quit Renault when they were at the top so to speak, as did Schumacher with Benetton.
Hamilton doesn't have much reason to quit, and by some reports he wants out now! When the going gets tough.

Yeh rumors sell papers.

for a driver who just won the WDC for Mclaren i think your being harsh.

I mean if we had two hekki's last year we would off been 5-8th in the WDC and worse in the WCC proberly.

with a car that was as good as Ferrari almost.

And JB

Your an armchair pundit mate you've not been there unlike dc who is saying what i've been saying. - consider that.
