This was interesting, although as always it probably means nothing. :hehe:

Hopefully, the Mercedes is a decent car this time out. I'm hoping that the pace that Force India have shown is close to being an accurate representation and they'll be fighting in the upper-end of the midfield, with podiums a possibility. They have two very good young drivers and I'd like to see what they can do with a quicker car.

The possibility of seeing Hulkenberg and Di Resta fighting near the front of the midfield, and possibly harassing the occasional frontrunner, would be very exciting. 8-) It would be nice to see Williams reverse that backward trend too!

At least Webber's starts aren't as bad as some of the howlers that Rubens Barrichello cooked up in his 2009 days with Brawn. There were two or three times when he went from the front row to being amongst the backmarkers in the blink of an eye! :hehe:

I expect Force India to struggle more this year than last. IMO their few good lap times are a product of how desperate their $ situation is rather than true performance.

McLaren's system uses 28 LED's to feed information to the driver and the two jackmen at the front and rear of the car.

The driver simply sees a green or red light, telling him when to hit the accelerator. The rear jack-man also sees two lights which let him know when all four tyres have been changed, whilst the front jack-man and chief mechanic see a panel of 16 lights. When each mechanic has finished his part of the stop, he hits a button which activates a green light. When all the lights are green, the car is released.

hmm... idunno about this. sounds to me like more opportunity for failure. I'd be more worried about getting Jenson in the right garage first.
