I think if I was Webber I would be keeping clean, his employers for next year whoever they are will be looking and making opinions of him

Red Bull have always done things a bit differently. Remember the DC times? Superman capes and all? Pool plunges, promo runs in all kinds of places. Their paddock magazine is famous as well.
So a little spin is alright by me - everybody does it.

Yeah I remember the good old DC cape at Monaco :hehe:

They took over the title of "fun team" when Jordan went to sh!t.

Fun in F1 is inversely proportional to the level of championship expectations. That Malaysia podium was a barrel of monkeys.

Red Bull definitely provides me with fun - almost every time Marko opens his mouth I get a laugh. :D

Looks like Marko likes making his fans laugh.

Marko still not happy with tyres

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has again called for changes to Pirelli's tyre compounds, arguing that they distort competition.

Pirelli revealed in Bahrain that Red Bull is the only team asking for changes to the compounds, while eight teams have asked for the situation to remain the same. Since then the Italian tyre supplier has tweaked the hard compound, but mainly with the intention of getting it to work more consistently in the lower temperatures expected in Europe.

But Marko is still pushing for further changes to the compound range to reduce the level of degradation and allow drivers to push harder throughout the race.

"We want a tyre that does not restrict our potential," he was quoted by Motorsport-Magazin.com. "You should be able to get the optimum out of the car and currently it is a compromise. We have to adjust the car so that you can make as few pit stops as possible.

"We have two top drivers, which is not cheap. Then you have to tell them that they cannot drive flat out through some corners, which is not easy. This distorts competition."

Despite Red Bull's misgivings regarding the tyres, the team still leads the constructors' and drivers' championship and has won two of the first four races. Its closest competitor in both championships is Lotus and Marko believes the E21 looks competitive in all conditions on the 2013-specification tyres.

"The tyre is unpredictable and some cars handle the situation better than others. Lotus appears to be fast on all circuits."

Well, I disagree with the fun poking in this case.
Look at it this way: Red Bull lead, they're not sore losers miles behind other teams and yet they're taking on YOUR case. With that I mean many of us here who complain about how gimmicky and tire dependent the F1 races have become and that drivers can't really race anymore because they have to conserve the tires, etc., etc.
Red Bull doesn't really need to complain since they're in good shape, but they do complain out of a position of strength, which is a good thing for us fans. And lo and behold, Pirelli reacted and will change things hopefully for the better.

It's easy to slam Red Bull as the leading team with a yokel as their spokesman, but sometimes they do things right for the good of everybody, not just for themselves.

I doubt that Red Bull are doing it out of the goodness of their heart, and for the good of the sport blah blah. They're doing it because they're not in the best position tire wise and feel there is a vulnerability they'd rather not have.

Nothing is going to change this year, but the more noise made this year the more chances of things changing for next year.

Uh no, Pirelli announced changes from Spain on, haven't you seen that?

Sure, RB don't do it out of the goodness of their heart, I wouldn't claim that. But you do see the difference if they were way behind and complained or the situation they are in right now and still they want to change things for the better? And no, if things were like last year, that still doesn't mean RB would run away with the title(s) - look how close it was last year...

Marko and RB know the relative performance of the cars and they are desperate to change things to suit themselves. Their complaining has achieved a beneficial change in their favour already and they are looking for more.
