A Vettel fan? Show him the site, get him signed up! :whip:

The more members the merrier

You mean the more non-McLaren/non-Hamilton fans the better!

Not being disrespectful or anything like that but the current numbers do seem to be unevenly spread in terms of team and driver support. There is an over-whelming majority.

Aha maybe that would be good

Diversity was the word I was looking for!

One could always piss off to find this 'diversity' elsewhere since it's a free world. Not being disrespectful, just truthful.

One could, but perhaps whilst this forum may be improved by diversity it is still superior to other forums, hence that isn't an equal choice to wanting more diversity.

Define 'superior'?

it's a bit unrealistic to come to a UK based forum where the majority of the users are also from the UK and expect not to have a majority of fans supporting McLaren or Lewis.

Learn to speak Spanish or Italian or Portuguese, hell maybe even German and you'll get diversity that way.

I meant in the opinion of "oneself". The only measure is the value or preference it's user ascribe to it surely, there is no forum ranking competition.

Hmm, are the majority of members UK based? Poor old Button and Di Resta

I was in Canada in 2011. The drivers that got the overwhelming loudest cheers from the fans during the driver parade were Lewis and Schumacher. That's just how it is.

Look at the first 2 pages of the member list sorted by post count, i think everyone will see there is a fairly wide mix of loyalties amongst the 'main' (not the fairest word but you know what i mean) members.

It's not enough diversity apparently.

On overall members the mix between the big three teams is probably fair, with Ferrari kinda behind, but the Lewis fans seem the, keenest to post on Lewis issues (which includes Jenson Button for them  ), whereas fans on other teams, will spend proportionally more time of their posting relative to the Lewis fans posting on stuff that isn't directly related to their favourite teams or drivers, I think.

You're overlooking a select group that do go out of their way to post inflammatory or leading comments that then tend to incite the Lewis fans to defend those comments, and the cycle is somewhat self propagating.

The Lewis fans aren't alone, the same can be said for Vettel fans albeit to a lesser degree, the same point counterpoint self propagating thread issues.

Maybe it's joust the McLaren fans shout the loudest! Seems like there are hundreds of them.

@Hammer278 - I love you too bro. Think I'll stick around now. :)

Today I mostly sat at my desk feeling sorry for myself. :(

Time to go home and go to bed!
