I want to think you're just making that sh!t up but it's painful to say... it's funny because it's true.

I must admit Cookin sound less and less like a fanatic every day, and it's hard to deny the cray-cray that Whitmarsh's comes out with.

Let's forget that Perez out-drove the car and got to q3. Let's forget that he had some excellent scraps with Alonso. Let's forget perez scored 6x the points of the driver they are keeping.

Let's not mention it was Button that wasn't good enough to get to q3. Let's not mention that Button made a school boy mistake and got a grid penalty. Let's not mention Button drove his car into the back of another on Turn one.

Let's talk about how old Button is, and how great he was to score a single point.

Yeah, well done Whitmarsh. You are great and really know what driver to pick.

Same old mind blowingly annoying rubbish he used to do when Lewis was there. Did my head in then and still does my head in now. unbelievable Nonsense! Surely the other TP's must think he's an idiot.

Button drove better in the race thoug, Perez stated 7th and finished 7th, Button started 15th and finished 10th.

:banghead::banghead::banghead: and where were the better drivers and the faster cars? Around about p10- p16 or around about p7-p1?

What I dont get is that to be a team principle, you must of been able to have proved yourself in the passed. But for me Whitmarsh, Boullier, and (the Ferrari guy whose name escapes me at the moment) just seem like wet lettuces

Imagine how many cars he would have passed had he started in say 19th place! :cloud9:

This is a crock of sh*t and you know it....don't you?

I just read Whitmarsh's comments....like f*cking 3 lines about Perez who scored 6x the number of points of "Peerless :duckie:" and a goddamn essay about a duck who couldn't even make Q3 and managed 1 sorry a$$ point.

Whitmarsh is a much bigger threat to McLaren than Button is, it's quite clear to see.

What do you think would have happened had Kobayashi made it to McLaren instead of Perez?

Button's lap times were far more consistent and faster than perez's when they were both in clean air. Jesus Christ the way you guys act make it sound like Jenson spends his afternoons murdering first born children...

I agree, Perez didn't improve. If Perez was in Buttons position, he would have come 11th

But in actual fact, he qualified 7th , held that place, overtook Alonso and brought home good points. He didn't fail in quali, ignore a red flag, damage his nose and end up out off position passing slower cars .

Big Azza! I like Kobi. But I think he would probably have faired similarly. Some good drives, good qualis, maybe the odd outstanding one ( as Perez almost pulled off at Monaco) then get dumped.

Actually, looking at this a bit closely, how you get to that conclusion. Looking at the two drivers lap times here, it looks to me like Perez was (bar a few laps at the end) consistently faster than Button...
