My home town team, Plymouth Argyle secured Football League football for next season after battling Administration, having to sell all the best players just to survive, started the season with a team of rookies plus three or four professionals, at one point where six points adrift at the bottom of League 2, slowly built up a team and consistently achieving draws to keep the points tally rising coupled with wins every now and again secured league survival. 10 games into the season, I didn't think that my home town club would even exist come the end of the season, amazing result for all involved with Plymouth Argyle Football Club!

Moving onto my second club, Liverpool, just how crap have they been at home, only winning five out of 17 home games, the league is gone, nothing can be achieved in the league now, the only remaining hope is the FA Cup to add to their Carling Cup win. But next season, something has to change fundamentally as what's happening right now isn't working!

United have given City the impetus to wake up again...thanks to bloody Rafael dreaming on the pitch yet again, the lousiest player to don a United jersey.

Funny, Rafael's face always reminds me of Massa....and they're both duds in their respective teams.

I can't stand Evra, I think that he is the weakest link.

Evra has been quite crap this season, but he was pretty much a top 3 United player last season so still counts as an asset who's currently off form.

Rafael on the other hand has always played football like Massa currently drives in Ferrari.

I've been living in Plymouth for around about 5-6 years. Where abouts in Plymouth do you live mate?

Plymouth did well to survive the drop after losing their best players because of huge finance constraints applied onto them. It was looking grim at one point, but they pulled through and survived. I still go to Home Park when possible, work has been limiting how often I go there this season, unfortunately.

I used to live in the Mutley Plain area at the top of North Hill, but now I live in Kansas, USA.

That's about an half hour walk from Home Park if I can remember correctly.

You made the right choice going to Kansas :), Plymouth is a bit worm down now.

Not even 30 minutes walk, 15 to 20 minutes maximum to get to Home Park from Mutley. You clearly have never been to Kansas, it's possibly the most dull place on Earth! I have heard the Plymouth city centre has turned into a ghost town as more and more stores are closing down because of the mall/shopping centre at the very top of the city centre!

I've never been to America :D

You're exactly right about Plymouth turning into a ghost town. Drake Circus has opened and the shops towards bottom of town are closing. The bottom of town is almost empty in comparison to the mall. Lack of parking in City centre also doesn't help, Drake Circus is the only place where you can easily park on a weekend.

Places like Union street are looking gloomy and run down too.

Quite sad to see the transformation because when I first came it was beautiful.

I am really not into football, but I just heard an over-zealous chap running down my street bellowing "Come On Chelsea". I presume something jolly good has just happened in his life, but it was highly irritating nonetheless. I thought he was having an argument with someone at first, such was the ferocity with which he informed us all of the success of the London-based football team :irked:

Well done Chelsea. I really doubted they would go through but they deserved it really. They had a gameplan to defend and it worked well. Barca had no Plan B and it really showed. Of course, things would have been a lot different had Messi scored that penalty. Mad - but also brilliant - match.

Happy for Torres to score, always liked him.

John Terry. As if the world needs anymore proof of how much of a prick he is.
