I think its disgusting the way certain members have spoken about the spanish fans.

youre right i forgot to add the Spanish marshals!

too right bud.

There's no smoke without fire they are blatently discirminating against Lewis which is disgusting the British Marshells would never do that with Alonso for example.

Its a case of being profesional the spanish Marshells were not.

Whatever... Lewis did blow a tire. And just because i said he got a puncture you all came over me as if i was grafitti-ing the Mona Lisa.

no mate its because you said he had a puncture that was his fault and tried to twist every eventuality as if he made a mistake.

Neither the team or Lewis was at fault its just one of those things.

One day, I hope to have learnt enough about things like stress and strains to be able to come on here and blow you all away when something like this happens.

Anyway this Marshall thing, it's a serious accusation if Lewis is making it, therefore it should be investigated properly, both if they were late with the blue flags, and if it was specifically for Lewis.

Have McLaren made any form of formal complaint?

A stone stuck between the wheel rim and the tyre is the most likely cause for Lewis Hamilton's accident on the penultimate lap of the Spanish Grand Prix.

The shattered remains of the front-left corner of Hamilton's car is being rushed back to Woking for analysis. Almost within sight of the chequered flag, his McLaren speared into the turn three barriers after a sudden tyre failure cost him second place both in the race and in the world championship standings. Team boss Martin Whitmarsh immediately speculated that "debris" probably caused the problem, while Bridgestone said its initial impression was that "this was not caused by a tyre issue".

"We are working closely with McLaren to understand what happened," said Bridgestone's Hirohide Hamashima.

After qualifying, Rubens Barrichello took photos with his mobile phone camera of his FW32 and his helmet, so amazed was he about the damage caused by flying stones. He told Germany's Auto Motor und Sport that he had to nurse his vibrating Williams to the chequered flag after feeling a "strong shock" on the left front.

"We had to slow him down to ensure we didn't have a problem with the tyres," confirmed technical director Sam Michael. "We'll be looking into that for the next race."

Barrichello suspects a stone got stuck in the wheel rim, and a similar cause was also not being ruled out to explain Sebastian Vettel's brake problem. After the Red Bull was inspected, Christian Horner revealed that the brake disc "was a bit damaged".

"We will only know for sure in the factory," he added.

I didnt say it was a mistake per se. I said he probably blew the tire due to it being worn and him doing a fastest lap; not a mistake but rather normal racing conditions. Because I even said, out of the field, the only two with any reason to push a bit were Lewis and Alonso (Alonso because he could go in for new tires if he burnt them trying to catch Lewis, and Lewis because Alonso could push to try and catch him; in fact Alonso was the one who started doing fastest laps, then Lewis reacted to maintain the gap)... But then you all cried outrage!

So there you go... off to Monaco :wavey::)

You said that AFTER whitmarsh had said it was proberly a WHEEL not tire failure.

No matter what you say your intentions was to stirr up crap and mock your rival teams driver crashing i know this, the rest of the forum knows this and deep down you do.

Huh??

I was the most surprised when someone here on the forum mentioned it was the rim failing. I had no idea what Whitmarsh said. From what I knew, when I first posted I believed it was a tire blow out. But before long there was all sort of fire from the Hammy-crew...

If I wanted to mock the rival crashing, i would. It's not so difficult, specially with Lewis :hehe::)

Fine and when somone the evidence pointed to a wheel failure you continued to argue that point trying to make it out to be driver error, simply to rile up the Lewis and Mclaren fans.

No. When someone said it was the rim, i said i doubt it would be such a coincidence that they (Mclaren) would break 2 Front-left rims at the same circuit. So I said it must be something to do with either the loading or some kind of design feature of the car. But I REALLY doubted another manufacturing issue. If that means a mistake by Lewis, fine... rile up.
