Whew big fight over bugger all really.

Hopefully Lewis will keep it ahead and hopefully Rubens will be able to get into the points and take a nice big chunk out of Jenson's Lead - keep it interesting and all that.

Anyway - what about the RACE

YEAH! onwards!! lewis to win :rofl:
then Nico then Rubens(thats my wish finnish..I think)

Rubens will be struggling to get a podium today me thinks

I think so too. Thats the wish bit :D

Yeah seriously.

I fancy Alonso to get on the podium.... Hamilton, Rosberg then Alonso is my prediction, but no doubt that one will be completely up in the air once the safety car comes out (i'd be amazed if it doesn't).

The Brawns need to be careful otherwise they'll end up having a "Canon" moment today...

:spaz:
My head hurts.

Can we all just agree that both Lewis and Rosberg would probably have improved on their 2nd lap but that we can't possibly know which one would have come out best?

That's what I started out by saying

 suck up

I take it the insults come out when you can't actually post a valid point? Or you don't like the truth?

Seriously, I don't understand your problem. All I said was that I wasn't sure of something, yet you interpreted it as a "Hamilton couldn't do it". Then, despite clarification on several occasions, you still continue to either not understand or simply ignore. Which one is it, bud?

this whole argument is over you saying he wouldnt have improved his provisional pole lap is it not?

No. This argument is over you not reading what I posted properly, or failing to interpret it in the way it was intended. My original point was about me not being sure of whether or not he would go faster on his next lap than Rosberg on his next lap, and about me not being sure whether Hamilton doing the extra lap in Q2 would have seen him go faster than Rosberg's rather impressive one.

Splitting hairs

No, me being uncertain of something. Seriously, what is so hard to understand about it?

But like Amanda said we wont know, we can only make SENSIBLE sumises

I said that, too.

Second place would depend on a safety car, I think. I think it would be more likely that he's fighting for points, although his fuel load concerns me. If he can do one of his good starts, rather than one of the bad ones, and jump Kovalainen and the BMWs (or Kubica, at least) at the start then he might be able to salvage a result and take Jenson's lead down to about ten points, which is much more manageable. I think it's better to hope for Jenson not to score at all, which is quite possible since he could well be held up by Nakajima at the start and it's very possible that Raikkonen will make up several places with KERS. With action at the front, in the middle and possibly at the back if Fisi can get a good start, it should be an interesting start and opening lap.

rosberg to win, kimi to drive into button. Fisi to come second. Halmiton to hit the barrier, bringing out a safety car, which helps rubens.

Interesting, I had forgotten that Alonso is reasonably fueled and starting in a good position. :)

BREAKING NEWS: BMW's Nick Heidfeld has been relegated to the back of the grid after his car was found to be underweight following yesterday's qualifying session. As a result, the German has taken the opportunity to change his gearbox and engine. All that means that Rubens Barrichello is now ninth on the grid, with title rival and Brawn team-mate Jenson Button 11th.

I don't know whether to feel good or bad. On the one hand, it moves Rubens up a place and puts him on the better side of the track (I think). On the other, it pretty much ruins Nick's chances of a decent result. :-\

About 10 minutes ago it came up on the BBC live text feed, i'm just waiting for the stream to start here...

Alonso in 5th and Glock in 6th with as much fuel as Hamilton, this could get interesting after the first round of stops.
