:rofl::rofl: deluded fantasy. Please read my post again and "try to use your brain" to understand what I said. Did McLaren win the WDC? NO. Is HK the #2, most likely....Please put your emotions aside and use your intelligence sometimes. I get it Hamilton is your God for winning a WDC. Good for him but how about McLaren? Drivers come and go but teams tend to stick around. When was the last time McLaren won a WCC? Thank you.

Fantasy Man, I am actually a Kimi fan, and a McL supporter. Hamilton is not my 'god', he's just a bloke that happens to be very very good at driving an F1 car. And no matter what ifs, buts, and maybe's you come up with, he still won the WDC with a car that McLaren provided. It's a team and driver effort and that's why it always has more appeal than just the WCC.

1) I hope Massa can contend for next years title again. I have to say he really has impressed me this year, and this is without a doubt the best F1 season I've seen in my 7 years watching the sport.

2) I hope Bourdais, and Barrichello keep their seats.

3) Next season wont be a new page, but a new chapter in the F1 history book.

True enough. More competition make any sport more enjoyable. Overtaking is a nice retro touch too. Overtaking in F1. Whoda thunk it!

Agree with you about Bourdais and Barrichello. Unfortunately I think Bourdais's chances are better than Barrichello's and even Seb might not be totally safe.

Hey Fact Man I do believe that big Number 1 that Lewis will have for being the WDC will go on the front of a Mclaren next year :):):):):):):) I guess it does Matter :headbang:

Congrats to Lewis, Great Driving this year. Those Ferrari's and Massa where a tough act to beat.

To all the Ferrari idiots who think Glock and Toyota were in on some sort of conspiracy, Go Drive a Race Car in the wet on slicks. If you have never done this than Shut The :censored: up.

Massa Great job this year I think he has championship(s) in his future for sure,
Vettel, Alonso and Kubica Wow thanks for keeping it interesting, hopefully we get more from these 3 next year.

Up until this point I've been speechless; we've just witnessed what will go down as one of the most incredible few minutes of sport in history. I have never shouted, and will probably never shout as much again, as in the 10 second space of time from Hamilton passing Glock to crossing the line in 5th. Unbelievable. What a finish to a fantastic season of F1.

First off, congratulations to Felipe Massa for winning his home race in dominating style, but even more impressively, for congratulating Hamilton and saying that the best man won the championship. There was a period after Japan where I lost respect for him but he's more than regained it with his actions today. Hats off to a talented driver who I'm sure will be pushing Lewis all the way in future seasons.

Secondly, both Alonso and Vettel deserve all the plaudits they get, as they've finished the season in stunning style; Alonso has reminded us what an exceptional driver he is, while Vettel has ear-marked himself as one of the fastest men on the grid. They both drove a great race today.

Thirdly, congratulations to David Coulthard on such a decorated F1 career. It was a shame he couldn't finish the race, but that doesn't detract from his achievements over the many years he's been in the sport. Best wishes DC; F1 will miss you and your crazy head.

Finally and most importantly, Lewis Hamilton. HE'S DONE IT! He's the worthy World Champion, and the manner in which he won his maiden title (passing Glock on the last corner) is symbolic of the excitement he's injected into the sport over the last two years. There's so much more to come from him, and I can't wait for his defence of his title next season. Lewis Hamilton. Formula One World Champion. You beauty!

This season has been thrilling from the word go. We've had seven different victors and numerous memorable drives from all manner of racers. And the second time in two years that the title has been decided by one point. Can next season match up? I can't wait to find out.

I couldn't agree more. In a way I'm sad, firstly because such a great season has ended, and secondly because I know know I've watched the most exciting race I'll ever see, but anyway, I'll get over it!

Massa's getting alot of credit for how he drove, which he richly deserves of course, but it's worth noting that Hamilton himself drove a very mature race. The rain at the end threw a spanner in the works, but up to that point he'd pretty much done everything he needed to do. It was another mature and disciplined performance - I'm sure if I'd been 6th with 2 laps to go I would have overdone with all the frustration it and spun off!!!

I thought Lewis and McLaren were too conservative with strategy - even if you need only position 5, you do want to have a bit of reserve, just in case; and it almost came to that "just in case". However, Lewis finally managed to keep his head cool and his buttons (pun intended) under control; well done! I've already seen him out of track or something once Vettel got him, but he just kept on going and it paid back. Brilliant. I respect him for this performance much more than for any of his utterly dominant victories.

I thought McLaren's strategy was particularly poor. They should have come in for wets on the same lap as Massa came in. Completely obvious. Failing to do so was what caused the close finish, and had LH fighting for the win, rather than cruising.

Just to remind everyone, WERE NUMBER ONE :hehe:

Not really. Lewis is No. 1. with his driver's championship. But as soon as you start saying "we", then you're talking about teams. And Ferrari won the team (aka constructor's) championship.

So, WE'RE NUMBER ONE :thumbup::hehe:

I was wondering myself why Lewis wasn't pushing earlier on in the race, to give himself a little more wiggle room. but after the race he later told Peter Windsor that his car's engine did not feel right the whole race and he was concerned it wasn't going to make it the distance, so he didn't want to push it any harder than he had to. As far as Mclaren's strategy being poor, I thought he should have stayed out longer, but then again that tactic has screwed him up in the past also. It doesn't matter now, Mclaren and Lewis did what they needed to do, and Lewis showed that he wasn't going to make the same mistake twice.

Loads of bitter Ferrari fans around.

Massa doesnt deserve it really when you consider he has gained 5 points down to Steward decisions.

The title would and should of been over back in China IMO.

Loved the look on the Ferrari garage when they found out Lewis had one.

I agree and so do thousands of others. Until we get rid of the Pervert Nazi Haw Haw son, we will always get the Ferrari Investigation Authority winning. Well done Lewis you won despite the attempts by others to stop you. Can't wait until March.

To win a constructors championship, you need to give an equal oppotunity to both drivers in the team unless you have this super driver who can do it alone(which Macca don´t have :D )
So Ferrari is still the BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD (because they let both of their drivers race  )
