Wtf? I'm not being nationalistic? If you have ever watched the superstars they are high powered cars like your v8 super cars, except these are the makes in it. BMW, merc, Audi, Porsche, Maserati, jaguar, Chrysler, Chevy (actually a rebadged Australian Holden commodore) and probably another 2 I can't think of right now. V8 super cars just Holden and ford. Boring. Although Nissan and merc have now been allowed to come back in it.

Spiteful? English not my first language. I have heard the word bogan used by Australians mocking a certain group of people. Usually ones who have zero concept of manners, swear a lot, sit on a chair all day drinking beer (usually VB) and dressed like bums. I've been told a lot of them love the Bathurst race. Bathurst is the big v8 supercar race of the year is it not? Excuse my ignorance and incorrect use of the word bogan if it is indeed the case, but I thought it meant the above and that isn't my thing. Sorry.

Yeah F1 would exist without Ferrari but it would then be no different to formula Indy. Now that easily counters your comment.

It may not be a sprint but you'd at least expect them to be faster than the GP2, Even at the end of the race on low fuel they were mostly still lapping slower than the GP2 pole lap.
