They're nice. They're French. But no yummy orange bit in the middle. If you eat Jaffa cakes carefully, you can nibble off all the biscuit and chocolate bit and save the orange bit till last :D

So am I reading this right... eating 12 of them in a day would constitute a healthy diet? :cloud9:

I think you're reading it wrong, 46 calories per Jaffa cake. That's good! So 46 times 12 is 484. If you eat under 500 calories a day thats ok for the fasting diet and you loose weight. But only 46 calories means you can have a couple on a normal day and it hardly makes any difference.

America doesn't have Jaffa Cakes? I thought you lot were meant to be part of the developed world? :yikes:

They're called Pims here, made by LU (imported).

What by who?! Jaffa Cakes have to be the real thing or nothing at all. It's like tomato soup, salad cream and tomato ketchup - it has to be Heinz or nothing at all. Same for brown sauce - has to be HP. Just as well America is not on my holiday list. I'd never survive knowning that I couldn't get Jaffa Cakes whenever I liked. Not that I'm boasting, but I have a box of Jaffa Cakes in the kitchen - it gives one a wonderful feeling of security. :cloud9:

If you eat enough it counts as one of your five.

The way you're going on about them I can't believe you keep them all the way in the kitchen... under your pillow would be an even greater sense of security.

you have not thought it through, if you eat enough they can be 5 of your 5 a day.

also the chocolate melts under the pillow. How do I know that, well I fell asleep on a hotel bed once and they had left a mint out...
