So to get this back on topic, the only bit of Vettel related news in the entire F1 world.......

Question of contracts 'as delicate as asking a woman her age'

Sebastian Vettel insists that he is happy at Red Bull despite the lure of joining other teams, particularly Ferrari with which the German driver has been repeatedly linked with.

The triple world champion’s contract with his existing team runs out at the end of 2014 and despite all his achievements, Vettel has been rumoured time and again that he could end up at Maranello.

When asked in an interview on the official Formula 1 website whether he would extend his tenure with Red Bull beyond the current deal, Vettel laughed: “Listen: this is as delicate as asking a woman her age! You never ask about contracts!”

The 25-year-old insisted that he was comfortable with his current squad.

“Isn’t that something that everybody can see?” he asked.

That's avoiding the question from what I can see.

Of course, on one hand, why would he want to change a winning formula they have at RedBull. Especially as in 2015 he might well be going for his record 6th championship on the trot. But on the other hand, surely every driver on then grid would consider a move to Ferrari, if they came knocking...?

I guess that depends on the mentality of the driver..what turns them on. I think with Vettel statistics turns him on...which at present would suggest staying at Red Bull. But with Bryne at Ferrari and the2014 changes...hmmmmm tricky one!

Him going to Ferrari will depend upon Alonso's retirement, by then Ferrari might have another young yet to be heard of up and comer in mind to replace Fernando. As is the case with any driver performing well, they are linked to a Ferrari drive.

But Ferrari have a tradition of hiring made men as their numero uno pilota, so I'd think they'd go for a WDC when the time comes.

What I meant was by the time Alonso retires I think he will be in his late 30s, whether he is at Ferrari by then still is debatable. Vettel by then might still be appealing to Ferrari even in his 30s. Or in that time some younger guy might have proven himself and is the talk of the town! I'm not meaning a rookie as like you said Ferrari go for the experienced ones but for example a 4th seasoned driver. Who really knows say someone like Perez wins two titles might Ferrari look to him?

Ah ok, yes, that could happen (not the Perez thing though :P ).

It all boils to whether one feels that driving for a losing Ferrari trumps driving for a winning anyone else. I'm sure we'd get varying opinions here.

Having had all the blabla of the 'official' launches a long time ago, the real unveiling has finally occured.
Ladies and gentlemen, you're looking at the curvatures of Hungry Heidi

Honestly, it'd be stupid to change teams now. Red Bull have the best technical team, and have consistently produced cars to challenge for the WDC since 09. They've won 3 constructors championships in a row, and not by small margins either.

Maybe Mercedes might be after a German driver in the future

Nico Rosberg is...chinese? :hehe:

Seriously, is that Hungry Heidi or Hungary Heidi?? I get conflicting feedback regarding this.

Dunno when thats gonna be. Rosberg has been very impressive throughout his career, and I think he'll only improve from here. He hasn't been beaten by a teammate since his debut year, with Mark Webber. I think he'll definitely win a few more races in his career, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win this year. Doubt Merc will be dropping him anytime soon.
