You leave Montoya out of this!! He was ace  do you want to see that bad boy vid again!?!

The one where he walked into a camera and then managed to get held back by his 80 pound gf? No thanks. :D

No, the one where he keeps overtaking Schumacher :P

Does that mean that everyone has pretty much given up on Perez?

I haven't!! The mclaren is SH1T. Maybe they'll give him a better one next year to show what he can do. I personally believe the button v perez stats would be a bit more even if mclaren hadn't botched his pitstop by ~1sec in monza and not given him orders to stay behind button in catalunya

Haha yeah he had some seriously good overtaking moves. But what I can never forget about him is the press conference after San Marino where Schumacher pushed him wide and said "I didn't see him"...and JPM has this "Lol f**king idiot" look on his face n goes "Wow...must be blind or stupid", that was awesome. :hehe:

Yeah, he's the fat useless walloper who overtook Schumacher when the Ferrari broke down. He also claims that NASCRAP is better than F1!

^Talking sh*t as usual.

If you didn't appreciate the overtakes, fair enough but why talk sh*t about the car breaking down?

That's no way to talk about your own posts. At least have some self respect. Do you need a bosie?

I know we all miss cookin's "colorful" and always persistent McLaren commentary. So here's my feeble attempt at it. The line below made me pee my pants laughing coming from the team that lost one of the three most coveted drivers currently in the sport.

McLaren managing director Jonathan Neale; "More than anything else what you really want is talent and high performance," he added. "We've shown in the past that we weren't afraid to make the changes that we felt that we needed to in the team, whether it was inside the organisation or in the driver line-up, in order to get the job done.

The guy somehow managed to put in facts and the trademark dry humour in his posts. Hope he's back soon.

I prefer this line though:

"we weren't afraid to make the changes that we felt that we needed to in the team, whether it was inside the organisation or in the driver line-up, in order to get the job done"

So what is 'job done'? Taking part in races? Winning races? Winning Championships? Because as far as I'm concerned, they've got the 'job done' once in the last 15 years. :hehe:

So.....McLaren are trying to snap up Alonso....Hmmmm

Yep, heard that as well. Two things that don't gel..... as yet that is
1) McLaren's car performance level
2) Financial strings loose enough to pay Nando's salary - I don't think the owners are happy with their investment performance.

Seemingly the strings weren't long enough to tie up Lewis. I doubt they'll be long enough to tie up Alonso. Alonso is staying put IMO.

EDIT: Actually thinking about this game of musical chairs, McLaren may come off the worst of the big team in terms of drivers. Cheko hasn't delivered, and he may still improve, but he's been in F1 for three years now and is on his best day able to equal Button in pace and qualifying. He still has a little ways to go, but I'm not "sold" on him. Button is going try and stay at Mclaren because the options for him at least just aren't out there, and he's the oldest guy on the grid now post Webber. (I think).

Can't believe Brundle was actually thinking Button had a chance of a podium towards the end.....I mean come on, talk about faint faint hope. I was like dream on, if Kimi doesn't get him the train coming behind surely will!! :hehe:

Brundle does miscalculate badly at times and for some reason it always seems to be centred around Button. In the 2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix he was saying that there was a chance that McLaren could leapfrog Button ahead of Hamilton and Vettel while in reality there was no chance of that happening unless a car broke down.

Coming back to Perez, it seems increasingly obvious that he is a good driver.....and that's it. He has flattered to deceive a bit too often now and while he may get another chance for 2014, I am not sure the team will continue to keep him when the Honda engines arrive for 2015. Unless he delivers, of course - but personally I think he is well short of the Big League.

...anything that's NOT related to Ferrari!!

(( I'm sorry; but, there was no way I could resist that bit of editing!! ))
