Brawn are looking solid if they are the only contenders one-stopping. Great job by Liuzzi too today... unlike Fisichella.

Both FI drivers did brilliantly! Kimi is strong. Brawn have got a solid strategy on the one stop i expect both Red Bulls are full to the brim as well. I think HK is in the pound seat if he is one stopping like i hope he is. Great pole for Lewis.

Agreed. I just can't believe he'd be capable of a heavy car that far up the grid though. :hehe:

Good stuff for hamilton, don't think he'll be overly light since that mccalren has good pace.

Kimi however (you know, the quiet one), must be very light in that ferrari.

Good on stuil and luzzie, probably have good fuel loads as well, hopefully force india will now get upgrades for the higher downforce tracks - or at least really push for next year now. This is a good run, but they must consolidate, I definitely see the potential for regularly competing for points.

Brawn are looking good, and now since I feel hes earned it, my offical support for the 09 champ will go to Rubens. Ahead of button and brawn better not try any team tactics rubbish.

Dire, dire stuff for redbull.

Kovi - well depends on wether he and hamilton have the same car - whitmarsh clealry said Hamilton on pole - rather than mccalren.

Not too bad for fisi no? Well I comparing against badoer anyway - and even badoer improved, so fisis got 5 races to go

Ah williams - very poor and I think the toyata engine is most telling - and nakijmi needs to go.

What about the BMW situation?

Penalty for Kubica or both RK and NH if they use a new engine?

Maybe Kubica, although our commentators said it was his 7th. Heidfeld is probably okay for now.

It was a nice Qualifying run... very surprised with Force india.
Would Fisi have gotten pole in a FI?? well, that'll be his sleeping issue tonight :hehe:

Mclaren are solid... let's see what fuel are Red Bull, Renault and Brawn running. But Kimi again, silently kicking bottoms :thumbup:

Seems like a really good race for tomorrow.

Great drives today. Mainly in my opinion from Luzzi. So far this season we've had Fisi, Algy, Grosjean, Badoer and Luzzi all start driving new cars. Only Luzzi has been properly close to his team-mate. Luzzi was matching Sutil's times lap for lap today. Luzzi did an identical time to Sutil in Q1, and was then only off by 2 tenths in Q2. The feedback he was giving to his engineers sounded impressive as well.

Many people believed that Luzzi just didn't show his full potential whilst at Red Bull and Toro Rosso. Hopefully for him, this a fresh new start to his F1 career.

Anyways, I was wondering would McLaren fuel Lewis light to make sure he was on pole in case he got a penalty for impeding Buemi. Doesn't seem like he's got a penalty anyway. But if e was light, you'd have to say the Kimi might look good for a shock win. Depending where Brawn are tomorrow that is.

I feel a little sorry for Brawn right now. They are super happy, thinking they couldn't be in a better position for tomorrow. But the fact is, they could. They kinda forget that Alonso has KERS, and that Alonso will undoubtedly jump Button off the line. So Button despite seeming back on form, could still end up in a poor position tomorrow. Whilst Barrichello could just keep ahead of Alonso, and fight for the win taking another chunk out of Button's lead.

It'll an interesting race tomorrow, since whilst the top 4 battle for positions both Brawn's will be lurking behind waiting to take a podium or even a win.
