He ran lewis close in GP2 though it was lewis' first season and Piquet's second; but never the less Piquet was a strong challenger. He was good in A1 too.
Piquet looked very downbeat after qualifying today. I think he knows the game is up.

There are probably some events around the world which he could enter to keep his arm in. My initial thought is that he tries to find a drive in GP2 as quickly a possible, for the remainder of this season (if possible) or next season, so as to gain some more experience and rebuild his confidence. Piquet has got the talent required; things just have not worked out this time round; I hope he doesn't throw in the towel.
That sounds like a good idea, although I'm not sure he'd be eligible for GP2 anymore..? I'd like to see him at another team where he doesn't have all the pressures of Briatore/Alonso/Renault. Campos might be interested in him.I may be wrong but i've never seen much talent in the guy.....
