Spain will be a little late cause they have to catch up on 4 races, Brawn have it but Toyota and Williams still have a resonable chance.

Since its going great for Toyota say if they do finish 2nd in the WCC will they still be F1 next season even without a win?

I reckon Toyota and Williams are in good enough positions to claim at least one victory this year. I reckon Nico will win at Monaco and if Toyota do manage a win it will come courtesy of Glock. He's good with in-race tactics.

A lot depends on the Brawn's reliability as well.

Monaco eh? Not Belgium?

Glock was second at Hungary so ill go with Hungary again...just putting it out there! :hehe:

I think Trulli could snag Monaco. Button too.

Nico is awesome around Monaco. If he gets pole with a decent enough amount of fuel, he'll more than likely take the win.

Yeah but without the screw up Lewis would have 7 points, not impossible if the car came good.

Tech 6, 4th=5 points and his Point at Malaysia, but with limited testing can they improve, suppose so but not .500sec worth.....

Before the screw up started it was 3rd but its all irrelevant now anyway becuase its 1. :(
I think if they could find the aero problem (by all accounts its a small thing but hard to pinpoint)then the rest of the car is good. And then they'll put on the diffuser. But whats the point now they'll probably be banned for the year :(:(

Maybe not after tomorrow.

What makes you think the White, Black and Yellow cars are only quick for one reason

He was 4th before the "screw up" Trulli went off and then LH was 3rd... :nono::P

You just never know anything in F1. I realise the diffusers aren't the sole reason, but teams like Brawn will have problems if they have to fit a brand new one on.

Im starting the screw-up from the bit where lewis let him through and didnt need to. Trulli had lost 3rd place then by taking the scenic route.

I doubt it, Ross said as early as Australia they have a solution worked out for if they have to remove it. And the rest of the car is good enough that Brawn would still be at least fighting at the front even without it - remember, whilst the diffusers might explain Toyota, Williams and Brawn being at the front, they don't explain why Brawn is notably quicker than Toyota and Williams.

Rubens' diffuser was broken inAustralia and he still came 2nd

Exactly, yes. The Brawn is a mighty quick car GeniusDiffuser or not.

I realise that Brawn is one step ahead of the rest, but if they lose the diffuser they ultimately lose a piece of the puzzle. It won't stop them being competitive nor at the sharp end, but it will bring the other teams back into play.
Although I doubt the ruling will see the diffusers banned, I don't expect Brawn to have such an advantage come mid season.
Furthermore their gearbox seems slightly fragile at the moment.

Indeed. It would appear that the front wing has more of an impact on the car's overall speed. When he broke the second piece after hitting Raikkonen's car, handling suffered and lap times dropped. I imagine that with that kind of front wing, the Toyota and Williams cars would be a lot closer. The rest of the TF109 and FW31 are aerodynamically sound.

Ah, but that depends on their development. I've seen people here express doubts...

I hear Brawn has a mighty leap in performance due for Spain. Bear in mind, the car they're running is the one they designed as fast as possible to take the Merc Powerplant. The Spain update is apparently tailor made for the Merc unit. Keep an eye on the sidepods.
