Forgetting about the penalty Lewis really impressed me today. Supreme skill with wet weather driving answers all of the questions his critics have about his ability to drive a race car. He, Alonso & Kubica are the best drivers in F1 right now without question.

What about Massa? he's been really solid this year, untouchable on occasion, but mainly he's managed to maintain his best pace while tempering his former indiscretions. He wasn't brilliant today, but by the same token he kept up with the pace Hamilton and Raikkonen reasonably well and made no mistakes that I saw. That's important when the championship is so close and shouldn't be underestimated

I completely agree with you there Massa is having a great year and is very consistant and is keeping up with Raikonnen and Hamilton.

This may have been mentioned before and lost in everyone talking about the other events, but Jarno Trulli made a really incredible start, did anyone see?? Then he got punted up the back in La Source, and his race was ruined. :irked:

I laughed when Bourdais did that, he probably thought "stupid boring looking car out of the way!" and pulled off a move he probably learned in ChampCar. :D

Thanks, Mike, nice find. I so wanted to see this!
Pretty straightforward passing of the first two cars, but the last corner was brilliantly executed by Alonso; he made use of his tyres well.
