Agree Hammer. Both Seb and Jenson looked like amature's today. I've nothing against them both, but they have no fight when the going gets tough.

Lewis will show them all the way in the second half of the season imo. :D

Well, it was Jenson making the passes. So that really doesn't add up to what you say, f1boy.

Passes? How many did he pass? Sorry I wasn't watching...not when Lewis is leading. :D

Anyway, if anyone thinks Jenson can do what Lewis did today....or rather, if he could've pulled out a victory in those circumstances, they need their head examined.

I kinda disagree with a few of the comments above - i dont think Jenson driving for Mclaren is a waste at all....people have slated him many times that he doesnt push and hes a 'conservative driver' who doesnt over take...but i disagree he was starting to move up through the field but was unlucky that he had to retire the car.
As for Vettel he made TOO many mistakes today - but i just believe that he wasnt feeling 100% within the car this weekend

Cant believe i have just kinda stuck up for Vettel is kinda hurts but i really enjoyed the race and it was nice to see a podium free of Vettel :hehe:

There is no denying that Lewis Hamilton is by far the more aggressive racer, and is the better overtaker. But to suggest that Jenson is hopeless at passing is to be seriously misinformed. He's pulled off a fair few good passes this season.

I never said he's hopeless at passing did I. His pass over Massa in Silverstone was the best of the race IMO. But he's just not as fast as Lewis, Fernando or Seb, and he doesn't have the tenacity to fight through a field...what he does is pit very late, or wait for rain...or some luck. People call it smart, I call it boring as it rarely works out anyway.

Aye, it is true that Hamilton and Alonso really are in a class of their own. They can race superbly from the front, and race superbly from behind.

I still want to see more of Vettel in the pack before forming an opinion though.

I agree (and the more times hes not on the podium the better in my eyes :hehe: )

Great race! although not the best result.

2 surprise DNFs in a row for Jenson Button. I guess Ron Dennis can go back to wherever he was hiding, his job's done.

It was weird seeing lots of cars having tire-lock problems... almost seemed like a rally race ;)

Cool race!!

Apparently the last time Vettel won from lower then P1 or P2 was Malaysia 2010....

Were his passes on track though (excluding grid starts)?

i dunno im just quoteing what Jake Humphrey said on twitter :hehe:

He started third and I'm pretty sure he was ahead going through the first corner. Third is, in fact, the lowest position from which he has won a race, although that's not too surprising given the car.
