And Domenically had his share of tifosi lynch mob, even right here on this thread, yet his team came a close second one year, something that is years away for the new guy

Can't blame the new guy for that, he's not driving the F14T with the yellow T bar.

So let me understand this

You are saying you hope Marco has sat down to assure (ensure even) his 2 drivers that they WILL have the best car on the grid in 2015, even though you are now suggesting that you ""expect"" ONLY that he will put together the best team that ""can"" deliver the ""best"" car for 2015?

And you dont see any irony there in the context of the discussion that the downfall of the new guy could be centered around managing expectations? eh??

and Fabi is the unreasonable tifosi???

I wasn't the one who misquoted me! You did!
Once again, you're twisting what I've said and the irony is that your expectation is to get away with it.

btw... using "ensure" was MY error, thanks for pointing it out!!

I remember Massa having a sizeable lynch mob not long ago.

It wasn't after one year of ineffectual performances, was it?

The "support" for Ferrari, from some people is just astounding!

I'm also hopeful that Mattiacci has sat down with both Alonso and Räikkönen to ensure them they will have the best car on the grid, come 2015!!

What I "expect" is that Mattiacci will put together the best team that can deliver the best car for 2015.

I wasn't the one who misquoted me! You did!

:yikes:

"Ferrari indifferent to Alonso demands"

This a thejudge13 article, so you'll need to scroll to find it. Apparantly Alonso is demanding $46 a year to extend his contract which will easily vault him over Lewis to highest paid racing driver and one of the top paid sports stars. Some think it's an attempt by Alonso to find a get out. It's rumoured that McLaren's offer will be withdrawn on August the 20th. There is also the thought out there that Ferrari won't need Alonso( at that price) if the car comes good. Hamiltons and Alonsos earn their money when the car is poor . When the car is ahead of the field it's driveable and winnable by others ( Vettel/ Rosberg...that bit was my thoughts).
Anyway, have a read and what's your thoughts

Kimi's going to be a dad, and if i was a dad, I would rather be a rally driver and a former f1 driver, rather than an F1 driver and a former rally driver. But thats my opinion. Alonso needs to leave, he deserves more WDC's .

Where is he gonna win more WDC's in the next few years if Merc dont want him and RBR dont need him?

Alonso needs to stay, he deserves more denero

Huh? tell that to Robert Kubica...

Rally is 50x more dangerous than F1, we have no trees and slope falls and ravines in F1 to deal with.
