Liverpool are on the ascendency; Manchester United are faltering in the season run-in; as much as I don't want to see United win the title; I don't want Chelsea to win either; it's a matter of who I dislike more and right now they are level pegging; I'm a Liverpool supporter so it's in my DNA to dislike United but I also dislike Chelsea's buy championships mentality!

You would rather the Scum win the Prem over Chelsea and lose your title as the most successful club in England. You are CRAZY! If I were a Liverpool fan, no matter how much Liverpool fans hate Chelsea, I would want Chelsea to win because Chelsea is no threat to Liverpool at being the most successful club. Your thinking is not normal. Even lasy year when Chelese won the Prem, towards the end of the season when we played Liverpool at Antfield, we all know Gerrard passed the ball to Drogba so he could score. Even the Liverpool players helped us win so Man Utd wouldn't have more Prems than you. In F1 is the same. As a Ferrari tifosa I don't wana McLaren to win. Although Ferrari's most races won is well more than McLaren's as are their Constructors titles, Ferrari only have 3 more (than McLaren) Drivers Championships and at the end of the day if McLaren were to become dominant like Ferrari were in the Schumi era, they could eventually knock us off our perch. Take Red Bull. They have won not much as they are new to the sport. So clearly this is why if the title hunt came down to McLaren vs Red Bull, that I would be going for Red Bull. Football is the same. If you want Liverpool to remain the greatest, then go for Chelsea in the title hunt and not Scum United.

I only read the first line of this latest drivel as if you knew anything about english football you would know a liverpool fan wants Man u to lose against anyone

Didn't I just say that you testa di c****.

when in the next century? and who would go to juve? but thats fair enough on the finances, because like you say real madrid have spent all that money, and what have they won this year, a pocksy spanish cup which they crushed anyway!! :hehe: and dont worry yourself, the prem will over tomorrow after your fantastic blues lose! :hehe:
oh and BTW if man utd win the cl final, oh dearr be ready for some stick !

If you know anything about Italian football (Which I do not expect you to), you would know that in 1980 AC Milan got put into Serie B as punishment for a match fixing scandal involving some betting or something along those lines. AC Milan and a few other teams got put to Serie B. However my focus here is only on AC Milan. In the mid 80s they went almost bankrupt but then Silvio Berlusconi bought them out. In 1988 they won the Scudetto (Italian Prem) and in both 1989 and 1990 the CL (I know it had a different name back then). They were the most powerful club in Europe also winning the CL in 1994 (Crushing Barca 4-0) and won many other cups such as European Super Cups and Intercontinental Cups. My point is that from disaster in 1980, within 8 years Milan was unstoppbale.

Juve suffered something similar in 2006. The Calcioploi for match fixing (which is a sham anyway) putting them in Serie B. Like Milan had to do after 1980, Juve had to re-build after their promoation back into Serie A one year later. Juve has the money needed so the financial part isnt an issue. Its the re-building which takes years and is still happening. With the resources available it is almost a certainity that within the same 8 or so years it took AC Milan to get back to the winning ways after 1980, that it should take Juve.

So its now 5 years now since Calcipoli. Within 3 years round about Juve will win. Already the Agnelli's have said "they will open the safe" for more money for buyinng. I follow the team closely. Juve only need about 4 more champion players to become a complete super force. And given the money is there, it is only a matter of time before Juve win again. This happened with AC Milan in the past and is happening with Juve now. Hiatory always repeats itself with very much everything.......

As for Calciopoli this was that Moggi of Juve influenced the refs that would referee the Juve games. There was no gurantee that that ref would win us the game. We got punished for this. Now proof has come to light that other clubs including Inter have done this as well. This is why Calciopli 2 has been opened. If the others are found guilty in Italy the law is the same for all. You either convict the others like Juve were, or you convict no one meaning that the 2 Scudetti Juve were stripped off will have to be re-instated. It would appear that whenever this is closed that the latter will most likely be the case. However this still doesn't change the fact that Juve were put in Serie B and have had to re-build. Calciopli 1 destroyed the tem Juve had at the time which were a super team. Remember this team had finished 2nd (to AC Milan on penalties at Old Trafford) in the 2003 UCL final and had reached a high stage in the tornament in 2004 and 2005.

Id rather Chelsea won the league then Man Utd for two reasons,

One, Man Utd cant win both the CL and Prem,

Two, Chelsea may have the money but Man U get every single refereeing decision ever made, and if they arent winning, 10 minutes extra time. Also theyve got the ugliest most over-rated Player in English football.....Granny-shagger

Vettel and Manchester. What's that Manchester City?

Btw how long have you been a Vettel/Red Bull fan? Since how long as they have been winning? Very much like with Man Utd? No worries. At least you don't go for scummy McLaren.

That Milan side you speak of of the late 80's is, apart from possibly the current Barca side the best team i have ever seen play football. The likes of Baresi,Maldini,Donadoni,Rijkaard,Gullit and Van Basten simply brilliant.

Did Juve lose most of the stars they had when relegated?.Thought I read Buffon stayed but didn't pay to much attention as to how many players left.

We lost about 7 star players. Lets see if I can remember off hand who they were. Zambrotta went to Barca, Cannavaro went to Real Madrid (A couple of years later he came back), Emerson went to either Barca or Real (Cant remember but it was one of them), Thuram did the same, Ibrahimovic and Viera both went to Inter. That's 6 players. I think there was one more but I cannot remember who it was. As for players that stayed, Buffon did stay as did Del Piero, Camoranesi and Trezeguet.

Yes the Barca of now and the MIlan of then were very similar. I am not a Milan fan but that side I loved. That Milan had the best defence ever which was the defence of the Nazionale Italiana and the best forwards from Holland. And Maldini only retired a few years back at age 40. Amazing! Usually only goalies play up until that age. :)

By the way I am not the type to ever congratulate an opposing team in footbal, especially an arch rival, but congrats to Man Utd. (I think you are a Man Utd fan, if not I take it back and am deeply sorry) Chelsea played sh1t and oh well that is that.

BTW I just remembered. Nedved stayed as well. (After Juve got demoted). How can I forget. He was my favorite player until he retired. I must really have my head in the clouds today....

Take it as honour as I never ever congratulate a fan of an opposing team, especially an arch rival and especially Man Utd. To me many a time, football equals war. Anyway Chelsea played sh1t and you deserved it. But I sincerely hope you do not win the CL as that would hurt me deeply.

Must be a dark moment for Liverpool fans, Oh well I am sure Liverpool can win one back eventually. Luckily for me that in Serie A, Juve have 27 (it was 29 before we were stripped of 2 titles) and AC Milan in second and the new Champions of Italy have 18. We should be safe for a while and should win a few more once rebuilding is complete. :)
