"At the end of last year, some of the developments over-performed. We were actually over-delivering at the track."

What a stupid thing to say!! What does he expect teams do at the track? Try to not quite do as well as they could?

How's it a stupid thing to say? Clearly it ,means that certain parts were too good for the car and their fully potential couldn't be realised. Kind of like watching an HD film on a regular non-HD TV. You're going to get a decent picture but it could be better if all the equipment was upto date. That's what I take it to mean, no doubt you'll laugh.

Finally you've come to the conclusion we already knew... that Hamilton was high definition and Jenson was merely regular TV. That's why he was able to make last year's McLaren's "over perform" in Whitmarsh's own words.

But I bet he still doesn't realize the conclusion even though he's come to the conclusion. :hehe::hehe:

I've just read the whole interview with Whitmarsh( subs only Autosport) it really does drivel on and say nothing.
Jake Humphries had a good tweet

That's pretty funny. Tough year to be a McLaren fan, at least Honda will soon be here to help.

Grown men know there is no self respect without honour, therefore I'll get paid or have 1 less to bother with whose word is meaningless and therefore worthless

Win win

He did, he's just trying to figure out a way to disagree with himself since we agree. :hehe:

Too easy to say something productive? Pathetic!

I thought mod's were meant to set an example of good forum behaviour. Clearly not.
