Im not British but i am tired of hearing of any excuses being made because of some British conspiracy!

You drive on the wrong side of the road. You measure yourself in feet and inches... your flag has a red * in a blue background... you share the same Queen.

you're almost british!

Only reason why the Australians have the union jack of because back in the day it was the way of showing loyalty British Empire when their was one. These days it symbolizes itself being a British Colony, but that was taken from wiki so i dont know.

So Alonso accepts the penalty and moves on  . Is that fair and mature behavior enough to those who bitch about him? :nono:

Well considering he got the penalty for being a spoilt little brat and than after the race refused to go on camera because he was "upset" than sure the fact he didn't whine a little more about how biased the FIA are being to lewis this time around does give him a few bonus points.

I love his driving ability don't get me wrong but people have a right to bitch about his behaviour when he rants about people breaking rules and yet does it himself as if he has done nothing wrong, you cant openly complain about Hamilton last race and than break the rules the next expecting it to be overlooked.

The only reason id say he even accepted the penalty and didn't openly complain was because he clearly knew what he did was a stupid mistake, also it was very bad luck that put him at the back of the pack as without the safety car he would have only lost 2-3 places.

I wanted to slap Alonso on the back of his head when he kept on driving away from Kubica. Heck, Ferrari is not even my team, but that was a dumbassed way to throw away a race!

He got a penalty for overtaking off the track, not for being spoilt little brat, i can defend alonso on this one.

After the last race and the Monaco SC fiasco I have certainly not been an Alonso or Ferrari fan. But the fact they accepted that this kind of thing happens shows a lot of grace. I have to give them credit for that. There is a little snipe at the end of their statement, but that is to be expected by any team that has this sort of luck.

Stefano irritates me more than Alonso right now. Usually he is so level headed but last race and this race his post-race attitude has been terrible. Bad days happen to all teams and they always make time for the BBC to interview them. And it is his job as team principle to show leadership and keep things together (something I feel he is not doing a good job of right now).

The person I feel bad for right now is Massa. I am sure things are super hot at Ferrari right now and that must be affecting his ability to keep his mind on the job at hand - driving. I also feel bad cause it seems he is like a second hand citizen. Everyone focuses on the fact that Alonso had bad luck in the race. Not much attention to the fact that Massa had a great start but had his race ruined by a puncture (by his team mate no less). Although on review it does look like Alonso was startled by Massa and didn't mean to run into him.

Sorry, but if Mr2times complained about the penalty he's got, he shouldn't be even driving an F1 car.

Do any of you get the live radio transmissions? Right after 'overtaking' Kubica he screamed on the radio "There was no road he drove me off track!" and started pulling away from Kubica. Rules state you give the place back in case of leaving the track (crossing the white lines at the sides) it's a pretty basic rule which has been around for years.

The fact that Mr2times accepted his penalty with a huff and a puff shows he did have knowledge about this rule. But he still didn't yield to Kubica. Sorry but this is pure brat material to me. Which didn't matter in the end, he got served royally. I love the Safety car. As soon as I saw the SC sign and the Ferrari lining up behind the SC I took a big swig from my wine with the biggest smile on my face. :hehe::hehe:

I particularly liked the way he got on the radio and told the pit-wall that he wanted no more radio calls from them for the rest of the race. Certainly sounded very much like toys being thrown out of prams to me.

It is my guess that Alonso is destroying the working relationships at Ferrari. I bet he was a child that had tantrums in supermarkets.

How they must miss Kimi now. Serve them right kicking the Iceman out to get Mr2times in. Especially after Mr2times gave a live case study in McLaren on how great it is to work with him, they still snapped him up. Brilliant move.

I think Kimi wanted out too, he was bored of F1.

I think he would have stayed if he felt more 'wanted' by the team which he won the WDC for in his first year!! Instead they threw him out for Mr. :bs:

He also considered McLaren, who wanted to put him on a tight leash which he didn't like...and with the 3 top teams in F1 not suiting his needs (Redbull were full up) the best alternative was to take up his hobby pasttime. :irked:

Just a thought on Alonsos and Ferraris complaint that Hamiltons penalty in Valencia wasn't much of a penalty, when penalties are given out in other sports it doesn't automatically mean the other team is going to score.
#207211
so, is this a thread about Mr 2 times complaining in general.. or simply for the valencia penalty??

For the Valencia penalty there OBVIOUSLY was a reason to complain.
For Silverstone... well, he didn't complain. Did he not say he accepted the penalty?

Why is it assumed Kimi would be doing better in the F10??
In my opinion, the F10 has needed much more work than several of the F's of previous yrs. Who's to say, Kimi would be the one doing greatly, while Massa struggled; and not the other way around. Or like last yr when both kinda struggled. Kimi is great, but there's no way of even having a clue as to how would he be doing this yr.
