The New Zealand goal was offside. Fact. And if you understand the offside rule correctly you won't bother arguing with me because I am right. Also NZ just sat in defence. Very lucky. Italy should of won like 5 nil. Annul NZ's offside goal and then add all the goals Italy should of scored. However it wont matter. Italy and Paraquay will progress. And hopefully Slovenija will as well in their group.

HAHAHA. This thread is starting to become quite amusing. Credit to NZ... they played the defensive game like a fine art. Switzerland and NZ have both proved against the worlds best that defending can and will- if played correctly, get results.

Bud... That Nathan Brown leg break almost made me throw up when it first happened. Same with Stevie Johnson and his kidney. That guy is TOUGH mentally and physically to still be playing the game.

AKR... My heritage is Spanish but thats a couple of generations back, as far as I'm concerned I'm plain Aussie with Aussie parents and I love the country. What were you living over here for?

I guess the point that should have initially been made is that although AFL is a hard hitting sport, people REALLY, REALLY underestimate the injuries associated with "Soccer." I for one can't play the game anymore because I tore my Anterior Talofular Ligament (correct spelling?) playing for Victoria and rushed the recovery.

Your hertiage is Spanish. Cool. Can you speak it? I can speak it fluently. I lived for 4 years in Australia so I could "accelerate" my Learning of the English language. A like the study of languages and lingustics and the best way to learn a language is to live in a country that speaks it. In Italy not many speak English like in other places of Europe. Btw my hertiage is mostly Slovenian. In fact I'm a dual citizen so I'm actually Italian and Slovene. Btw poor north Korea. I'm watching the game. Portugal just made it 5 nil!
