by the way MOA and bmwpower, it looks like we are in a race for the X Prize...

At level 30 on Spec A, and level 35 on Spec B, the Red Bull X1 is released.. It think I will be shooting for it today.. I am halfway through lvl 29 and it builds up smaller and smaller with each race I win.. Doesn't seem like I will get through it..

Red Bull X1 is not worth it, the Formula GT car is better. The Red Bull is TOO TOO sensitive, I can't even make it throught the first 2nd corner of Monza without either putting it in the wall or on the grass and with the Red Bull, putting ONE tire on the grass or dirt will disaqualify you, very frustrating. BTW, the reward for winning the 9hour Endurance is......................Honda S2000 What really suck about it is that the 9hr Endurance is Level 35, the next level is 40 (24hr race) and then level 45(24hr race again) but they give you little points to level up. I've done 9hr 4times already and I am not where near level 40

yeah, that does blow for winning a 9hr.. Where did you come accross the red bull x1? Do you own one yet, or is it only available in a challenge.. If you own one, how much did it cost?

Its in the Sebastian Vettel Challenge. You can't buy it, you must win it and I believe there's three versions (3 races) you can win. Black, Carbon Fiber, and Red Bull Livery. You will have to race or more like keep up with Sebastian and cross the finish line within a few seconds to finish the challenge. Like I said, the car is uncontrollable.

I just wish I had the space for a full driving setup, wheel, pedals, gearshift and seat/mounting platform. It's hard to get a feel for some of the more twitchy cars in the game with the Dual Shock 3 controller, I'll have to wait to get a bigger house for my racing setup, preferably my own gaming/entertainment room!

Yep the old setup for the PS2 I kept throwing off the foot stool . The dedicated seat/steering setup would be choice, maybe Santa will bring us one this year if we are good little boy's !!

You gotta love the logic, FGT race at level 23 but unable to buy a FGT car until level 24; Now RB X2010 available at level 30 and can't buy it until level 40, either the programmers at Polyphony aren't very intelligent or they are incredibly sadistic; "look what you could have if you were ten levels higher".

Which is highly annoying, especially in A Spec mode where you actively have to "drive" for the race duration, I neither have the time of inclination to spend 36 hours driving around the same track, B Spec is fine because you can start the race and chance to another video source to watch TV or a DVD!

Ive raced and took Gold on only one of the FGT events, as you can guess it was Monza.. 20 laps, but for that I'd say the experience is underwhelming to that of F2010. There I feel like my skills help me control a race, where as I feel lucky in GT5..

Since I have nothing to look forward to until Level 40, should I buy the F2010 or F2007??

I think I would go for the 2007 just because..

Yes, I am not going to do drive 9hrs either.

Here is what I think... Instead of GT6, they are going to keep extending the game through updates.. The bumped up the race prize money through updates.. They also change some of the configurations to let you know if you bought something or not.. My only hope is that they can push new cars to the dealerships through updates.. BMW and Hyundai are laking along with Many others...

I drive a BMW 330ci... Love it.. But a big fan of Mercedes SL also, and sad to see so few cars, except for Standard that you have to hunt for and cant go on photo tour

Working on the 24hr LeMans race, just how fast is the Red Bull? I already lapped the rest of the cars including the the Audi R8 Race Car, Toyota GT1, Courage, Judd, and some of the fastest prototypes around before the they completed their FIRST LAP.
