Wow, that was just retarded. I saw at least half the drivers out there run completely off the road at least once, if not several times, and Massa proved himself to be a real clown in the rain last year at Silverstone, where he spun like a carousel all day. So Hamilton spun a few times; whoopty-friggin-doo.

You're the retard, I'm afraid:

Given that none of you have twigged on yet, I may as well tell you. I was not seriously suggesting Hamilton should be given the boot. I was merely emphasising the point that Hamilton didn't cover himself in glory today, but McLaren are not looking for ways to find Hamilton in breach of contract and offload him.

Have to say mate no one seams to have got your sarcasm and like i said earilier i didn't get your point about the 2nd part at all.

It's a pity you didn't get the sarcasm. Perhaps IceManpjn should have read all of the thread before typing his reply.

It seems pretty self-explanatory to me. I was being sarcastic. I was not actually suggesting McLaren should sack Hamilton. I created the thread to emphasise the point that despite Hamilton's cock-ups today, Whitmarsh and other senior McLaren staff were not finding ways of dismissing Hamilton. McLaren's lack of whingeing and scheming is the antithesis of Hamilton's behaviour, showing him for the unappreciative brat he is.

You probably should have added a  or something, or maybe laboured the point.

This is text, no tone of voice. Sarcasm is hard to detect unless you make it visually obvious.

I did drop a couple of hints, which I'm surprised nobody picked up on. But point taken. I am still slightly surprised that people thought I was being serious. The suggestion, to me, seemed ludicrous, and I don't even like Hamilton! :hehe:

Well, if that's all your going on about, there's no point in continuing this discussion. You've got your view. I've got something much closer to the truth.

F1live:
As Sebastian Vettel clocked up his second Grand Prix win, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton openly admitted Shanghai had been one of his 'worst performances' in Formula One.

It was therefore an opportune time for quotes attributed to Bernie Ecclestone to hit the British press, as he outlines his belief that the German is better than his British rival.

"I think he is," the 78-year-old is quoted as saying by the Telegraph. "Lewis is super but I think this kid ... time will tell."

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner didn't want to be drawn on the comparison, but he agrees that Vettel's rise is unlikely to flatten in the wake of his Chinese win.

"It's difficult for me to say as Lewis doesn't sit in our car," Horner said. "But for sure, in coming years, Seb is going to be one of the dominant drivers in F1."

While the British media currently questions its former affection for Hamilton amid the 'lie-gate' scandal, Sunday's spotlight fell squarely on Vettel, who names his cars.

"My original car was called 'Kate'. But then it got smashed at the opening race in Australia. So we called this one 'Kate's Dirty Sister' because it is more aggressive and faster," Vettel said.

The clown spun 3 or 4 times and still managed to get 6th. Not that he would of gotten higher than 4th had he never spun. Lewis Hamilton, still the luckiest little prick on planet Earth.

You should probably be less concerned about Lewis' luck and more concerned about the way your own team is falling apart...

My team will bounce back. That is a fact. Look at Ferrari's 2005 season. Then look at 2006,07 and 08. That speaks for itself.

No it doesn't, the circumstances are completely different now. :hehe: This is more like a throwback to the early 90's!

Yeah, Hamiliton spun 4 or 5 times then. Ermm, remind anyone of anything.
Massa spun 5 times during Silverstone and everyone has not stopped bringing it up and whinning on about it. Even Legard was mentioning it today before the race was underway. So now ye can all shaddup. :D

Yeh but Massa really spun i mean like 360's and everything

Hamilton just got it abit sideways and saved it.

That was last year though, no one can deny Massa was awesome today.

It may appear like that to the naked eye but what happened in the early 90s will not ever happen again. Ferrari will bounce back weather it is with the help of the old likes like Todt comibg back, new people coming in like Vettel or with the FIAs assistance which I dont think was around in the early 90s cos no Max Mosley then. :D
