I don't think he'll beach it again, but I'm sure those stoplights in the pit lane will be out to stop him otherwise... :hehe:

Except this time, he hits Button! That would be tragic. Kimi would laugh on the sidelines with his ice cream.

:hehe:

On a rather off-topic note, I was watching a clip on Youtube and it shows Kimi playing golf during an interview. And during the golfing, he didn't seem the same as when he's being interviewed on track. He was relaxed and he was laughing and having fun. It was nice to see instead of the quiet, almost-robotic man that we get during press conferences. :)

He's apparently like that usually. He just gets kinda apathetic in the "Press Conference" scenario. Apparently he's actually on of the funniest guys on the pitlane.

He certainly seems like a fun guy. I'm not determined to meet him away from a grand prix. I am absolutely fascinated. I mean, I know I'm a different person in front of cameras and/or groups of people I don't know, but the difference is not as big as it is with Kimi.

I know what you mean. It's night and day with him (Less so since he came to the Scuderia - Magnums and Cokes come to mind, but it's still a huge difference)

Yeh from what I hear, he's just short on confidence as well as enthusiasm for the press and the corporate BS that comes with F1. For me, he's the most engaging personality in the paddock, always doing his own thing and not complaining about anybody. i remember when Lewis cut him up in qualifying for the Brazilian GP in 2007 and he didn't even want to protest. Top guy imo

That's because he's usually drunk. On race days he's hung over

Its now 4 days and counting, here's to an exciting race with plenty of drama

Just as long as it doesn't rain like it did in Malaysia. Nico's confident again and he didn't use "this track should suit our car"... but look what he used instead... it must be the first time I've ever heard him use it

Nico Rosberg: "We may not have finished where we would've like, but it was another strong weekend for us. We qualified well and then taking the lead at the start was great. It was just a shame circumstances didn't go our way as I was looking good for another podium.

Shanghai's a driver's track. There's a great mix of corners and then there are those two long straights so plenty of overtaking opportunities around the lap which will be good for the racing. Sepang showed that the team seem to have fixed the problem we had last year on these types of circuits so it's now looking like we have consistency. I'm confident that we'll have another competitive weekend in China. Top eight for sure.

"I enjoy visiting Shanghai. Experiencing a different culture is always very interesting and there are some great places to go, like the malls for shopping or the restaurants and bars in the evenings. The fans are also very enthusiastic which is nice!"

Kazuki Nakajima: "Even though I qualified out of the top ten, I was looking to make some progress through the field as I was on a good strategy. Unfortunately, the rain completely compromised that. Starting the race lower down the grid, I was alongside a lot of the KERS car who are able to make better starts so my aim is to improve my qualifying position in China.

"Shanghai is definitely a challenging circuit, but at least I've now had some experience of it so it's not new for me anymore. Last year, we struggled on tracks like China, but now our car is looking quite strong. It's well balanced in the high and low speed corners so I'm hoping we'll go much better there this year and I can score my first points of the season.

"Like Nico, I like this part of the world and for me it's close to home so I get to enjoy something similar to my own culture for a little longer."

I hope Nakajima improves his qualifying pace, he's shown he's ok in a race when either he doesn't crash or KERS cars aren't around at the start. At the start of the last race he had the misfortune to get stuck behind F1's mobile chicane award winner of 2009.

Uh. Who's that? :P

Nakajima has shown that he's fast, but also that he has yet to find the necessary consistency. Once he's got that, I imagine he and Nico will be frequent visitors to the podium. :)

Some say that he's always on the receiving end of a weapon feared more than Max Mosley's whip, and he always seems more concerned about his hair being perfectly in place...

... all we know is he's not the Stig. :hehe:

As am I. It might seem as if I'm always making fun of Kimi for his "habits", but in actuality I admire him for his ability to be wasted 95% of the time, while performing impeccably the remaining 5%. That's a hell of race strategy :hehe:

Indeed so!
