I'm going to try something over the course of the Silverstone weekend. I'm going to use Twitter extensively. Kinda like James Allen does, only without a Media pass :(.

In a way it will give some sort of personal perspective on the weekend, maybe offer some interesting extras, and well keep everyone updated on what the Forumula1.com member's at Silverstone are up to.

Erm, you don't need to follow to view my updates :P

sort of like a Blog? that would be interesting, for us way outside of the spectacle...... and could pave the way for other "inside GP" blogs in Forumula1 :)

I am going all three days, Driving from London each day. This is my first GP so I am not sure about camping and because I am going alone I choose to drive everyday instead. I am on pitstraight A all three day, might move around on Friday to find out more. I am interested in getting autographs/pics with drivers, do they allow this on Friday? I suppose only friday is the time when you can probably get any way near these guys. Any tips on what to do while being there instead of sitting in chair whole day.

You don't get near any of the drivers unless you have a paddock pass

Your best bet is to explore the circuit. Take in the sessions from different areas, go visit the F1 village etc.

Well if the site do want people to "tell the tale" of their trip to a GP it is the best way to go about it. Certainly I'd hope for some followers...

There is some sort of competition thing on the friday and saturday where if you go to the E-zones then 250 lucky people will get to get autographs on that day( that makes sence!)

Good thing i'm near Stowe E-zone.

In BSB you can meet the riders as I did with Shakey Byrne and I got a picture with him.
Better for people that.

This is very true. Remember modern day F1 is mainly focused on the viewers at home, not the spectators
