The very fact that it owns 2 test tracks to the other teams zero, speaks for itself.

Aye, that's right. FIAT paid for those.

Just a thought: how are the testing milage limits imposed properly on Ferrari when they own their own test track, and could easily get some testing done 'under the radar'?

Hope this isn't stirring the pot... :drink:

Maybe McLaren has a track called "Area 57" and it is there they do all their secret testing using the latest extraterrestrial technology.

while i appreciate the last part of your paragraph i would still have to say this argument your making is bs. if you really wanted to learn facts from Mclaren fan you would possibly pm him or even ask the question you wanted an answer for. possibly look online yourself or read mclaren-mercedes books (im sure theres plenty) not start saying how great ferrari is over mclaren. i wouldnt think it right to end a first post in a "discussion" by saying, "McLaren did this in 1988 and only ever in that year. So Ferrari achieved this feat twice so as always Ferrari always does one better than McLaren." it shows you honestly dont care about mclaren and just want to start something with other members here. your right, you have a right to speak back but dont stoop down to their level such as when they are constantly pissed and convinced that the stewards are out to get hamilton. cmon we are ferrari supporters, lets show some class and take the high road. if there are important facts such as when the season gets closer and ferrari are blowing the competition away, then we can bring it up, lets not dwell in the past. lets start gloating about ferrari accomplishments in 2009 when ferrari wins the WDC and WCC.

The 2009 season cannot start soon enough, I want it begin now. I want to see Ferrari win. Although I am happy that Ferrari will enter the 2009 as constructors champions, I want to see Lewis Hamilton lose. I am goingh to hate his car with the number 1 on it. If Ferrari don't win it I want to see someone else other than McLaren's Lewis Hamilton win. Even seeing Heikki Kovalanein winning is a slightly better scenario. Camon 2009 season. Hurry up and come.........................

As akr got us back on topic,

i have to agree i would like to see some different winners over the next few years, as getting one winner constantly is what makes it boring, as in Moto gp aswell.

I would be happy if the drivers champ went to a multitude of driver, but i hope it doesn't go ti KIMI, nowt against the guy personally, but he is just such a dull personality, it would be good to see an italian win or a brazilian, as they know how to show happines, saddness, anger, fear agresssion...the dark side are....erm sorry, went a bit geek there! lol

Yeah but a good old fashinoed romp to the 09 championship would be fun!

Mclaren do have private test tracks, or on airfields. But I think all testing miles are monitored during the season surely.

other teams just test on official test days

Ferrari have 2 because fiat has lots of subsidary car manufacturers that test road cars and sports cars, would make sence for them really.

Ah but she said she would like to see Hekki win more than Lewis.

So from this we can determine,

She hates Mclaren
She Hates Lewis
She Loves Ferrari

In that order of priority.

What i would like to know is why she don't want Lewis to win but is content to see Hekki win?

it is the F1.08 with modified aero its not their 09 chassis yet either!

I hope you're right.

Because that's some ugly looking cars right there.
