I think Alonso ault stay with Renault till Ferrari has an empty seat!
he won with Renault before and they are getting stronger loos Alonso and there strength might be compensated
let alone the money!
Give Rubin's & Button a chance in the new style Honda
maybe Alonso will win the champ next year in another Renault?

I think Ferrari have their eyes on one or both of Vettel or Kubica, to be really honest. That's not to say Alonso won't drive for them eventually, but just that I think those other two characters would be ahead of him in the queue.

I would rather see Alonso at Ferrari than Vettel - They'd just corrupt Vettel, whereas Alonso's already pretty corrupt XD

I think Alonso could go pretty far with Renault next year, providing they keep up the good work and keep improving the car. His attitude stinks, though - he clearly doesn't want to be anywhere but Ferrari - so whatever team he ends up with will know that they're his second choice, and he's only with them as a stop-gap. I wonder if that'll have an affect on his, and his teams', motivation?

Emma..... My personal opinion is that Alonso wants to be in a position to screw second best mclaren over - thats why i feel he wants to be with Ferrari. He knows that way he can take the fight to them and I like his motive in this case and Ferrari knows this. They would rather take Alonso than even vaguely think of considering hamilton at the least. Since there no chance that he can get in there next season i guess he will stay with renault and take it from there. If what we saw the past few races from Alonso at renault and with their chance to improve the "unfrozen engine" we going to see a lot a sparks fly and Alonso with more podiums as the dust settles

Alonso is an oppertunist and all he wants and needs right now is to be with a team that can get him where he wants to be - able to fight with mclaren. He also have a wish to be with the best team available with a very good track record , and he know and we know that team is Ferrari. He knows it just a matter of time but in a Ferrari he will be sticking it to the other "red" cars thats now painted silver

I think what motivates him is the fact that he has a beef to settle with mclaren. I am willing to bet you the very first chance he gets ..... even if its with renault .....he's gonna make em feels it. I know you might not like it ... but that the way it is... he wants revenge ..believe me
