I stream it when its on on vipbox. But unfortunately most of the time I watch replays since the timings don't work well for me. The commentators are fantastic though, I think even better than Brundle and Crofty.

"We were asked to replicate Canada 2010, and aim for two-three stops."

There is something seriously wrong when the tyre manufacturer is being asked to engineer the racing like this.

In the Indy tyre fiasco one suggestion of the Michelin runners using Bridgestone tyres instead was quickly dismissed because the cars weren't designed around those tyres yet here we have Pirelli continually changing the compounds and construction of the tyres.

Its a marathon not a sprint, its why we don;t dish out points for qualifying.

Some teams are handling the tyres pretty good, others just burn them off, thats their problem. At least it is challenging, gives the teams something to actually aim for and think about.

Also,

ALONSO!

"Unless you all want us to give Red Bull the tyres to win the championship. It's pretty clear. If we did that, there would be one team that would benefit and it would be them.

"You have to bear in mind, if we make a change, we have a lot of teams who would be against it and one maybe for," he added.

"I know if we make a change, I am going to have the podium people today in Spain aren't going to be happy and then you're going to be at Silverstone telling me we have given the championship to Red Bull. It's damned if you do, damned if you don't."

That's a wierd thing to say.

He's saying durable tyres would result in Rebull walking the championship?

Oh no I get it, he's saying well, Redbull are moaning, cos the tyres don't suit them, they'll change the tyres, it'll suit Redbull, then Ferrari and Lotus will moan.

He's saying that they're trying to find a one size fits all tyre, otherwise they could end up with tyres to suit one team or tyres to suit each and every team.

Any changes in the tyres could inadvertently suit one or two teams and hinder others. I suspect Red Bull are mentioned as they are the team to beat at the moment. What with their recent run of success they'll attract the lions share of the attention when they make comments about the tyres (and other F1 type things).

It's a marathon not a sprint because that's what the tires have been designed to do, because it sounds like based on your statement above you think making a car go very fast around an F1 circuit, and doing that the entirety of a race isn't challenging.

The pinnacle of motorsports. I think it's time for a new slogan. We've seen images of Dlaminated tires for three consecutive GPs now. When was the last time anyone remembers that happening?
