- 27 Oct 12, 21:26#329921History tells us that McLaren can be completely discounted from battling for the WDC next season. Reason being, they have a pretty piss poor record in the past THIRTEEN years...and their lead driver for next year has got his bottom whooped in outright pace by the driver who's leaving the team...and only managed to win in 2009 by some freak occurence in the technical area which left him with probably the most dominating car in Formula 1 history. The last time McLaren could 'dominate' a Championship was 1988. Lol.
Now they have lost key figures from the technical side to teams like Redbull, Ferrari, Mercedes and even Williams. They got a reject from Williams to head their 'sporting' division whatever the hell that means, and a lead driver who's a broken record in almost every qualifying session "No Grip no grip no grip". Their brightest part of 2013 is Perez...and he's still not a proven factor. Great speed at times but zero consistency. Still McLarens brightest part of 2013 and probably the most exciting. In terms of titles...one has to be pretty foolish to even consider this team.
Breaking News:Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol(Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)
