The Red Bulls looking planted though, very little work going through the steering by the drivers.
Hmmm, every keeps saying the RB7 looks planted and on rails. Below are on-boards from P1 for Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso. Pity we don't see the lap of Vettels from a tiny bit earlier cause he seems to have his hands full at the very start. And the lap time's not that staggering.
Vettel was not happy at all in the press conf. Kept complaining about the gear ratios and again mentioned about the lot of stuff/controls they have to do while driving. Obviously, not the performance they have been expecting.
Maclaren do seem upbeat, which means at least they feel comfortable and so far reliable.
Ferrari are still seemingly neutral, but Alonso looked good in both sessions with pretty decent tire wear; they obviously have more speed in the car (but who knows if much more tire performance or much faster than the others). Massa NEEDS to up his game asap. Starting with a struggle is never good.
Mercedes also seem neutral, but at ease with themselves....
Came out fighting indeed.
