I'm not seeing Massa "in it", at least for now. I love the guy, but he's looking pretty dull, especially beside Alonso. I hope he wakes up!

Yeah, I'm a McLaren fan, but I love a good fight. :D

Yeah well you said they would be fighting it out with hrt and str who looks stupid now? As an Alonso fan it's not that hard but

i think people that say........ "testing is nothing" when their team is doing bottom times or no times at all, and then jumping with joy over the "half grins" of the red bull and ferrari faces, because of a practice time, while calling others stupid...... look stupid now.

AND i doubt i said mclaren would be fighting with hrt.... i most likely said I HOPE.

I could not stay awake for practice so I ask if RB is looking dominant and who were the top 5?

RBR 1-2 in FP1, McLaren 1-2 in FP2. It is the usual suspects from last season at the top again. No one is looking dominant at the moment but obviously we don't know fuel loads, etc... The Red Bulls looking planted though, very little work going through the steering by the drivers.

I´m very disappointed to Massa´s FP1 and 2! It seems a rookie, man!

Hmmm, every keeps saying the RB7 looks planted and on rails. Below are on-boards from P1 for Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso. Pity we don't see the lap of Vettels from a tiny bit earlier cause he seems to have his hands full at the very start. And the lap time's not that staggering.

Superb to have F1 back on the scene, and a very healthy showing from Jenson and Mclaren, Lewis also. (thank god)

Cant wait for the Quali and the race!!

Three things are clear from the Practice so far.

1) Red Bull are not miles ahead.
2) McLaren are not miles behind.
3) Looking at the straight line speeds Ferrari are holding back... still! :banghead:

Qualifying cannot come quick enough.

Vettel was not happy at all in the press conf. Kept complaining about the gear ratios and again mentioned about the lot of stuff/controls they have to do while driving. Obviously, not the performance they have been expecting.

Maclaren do seem upbeat, which means at least they feel comfortable and so far reliable.

Ferrari are still seemingly neutral, but Alonso looked good in both sessions with pretty decent tire wear; they obviously have more speed in the car (but who knows if much more tire performance or much faster than the others). Massa NEEDS to up his game asap. Starting with a struggle is never good.

Mercedes also seem neutral, but at ease with themselves....

Ok, I think McLarens did a good job, but, they still need to do a lot! Red Bull is still the strongest, maybe by 0.4 or 0.5 of a second.
This is how the quali could high likely go:
1. Vettel
2. Webber
3. Alonso
4. Hamilton
5. Massa
6. Button
7. Schumacher
8. Rosberg
