Well, well, well. Another cut chicane, but no free ride this time. Thanks to some nicely placed blocks in the run off area.

Again I am confounded by the advice Lewis gets from his race engineer. " drop back to 2 .5 seconds to save tyres and attack at the end" :banghead: I was shouting NOOOO! Get him now, pressure him into a mistake! " luckily Lewis had the same idea and was there to take advantage of Rosberg's error. Had Lewis listened to the engineer he wouldn't have been close enough( and no doubt there would have been no penalty forthcoming for Rosberg). Why does Lewis' engineer keep giving him stupid advice? ' let Rosberg past' now ' drop back from Rosberg'. I'm so glad Lewis doesn't listen and gets on with the job.

As he's taking 4 tenths a lap from Nico.

Lewis once again not following team orders, that's why people dislike him so much.

Lewis owes Merc and Nico a apology for sure.

Anyone notice the smile that came on Toto face when Lewis got the lead.

Yeah he was happy to see all that potential risk of losing 42 points just wash away along with Rosberg's mental frame of mind. :hehe:

Well done on Lewis for ignoring those restrictive team orders.

I was kind of hoping that they'd have some close encounters on track, and Rosberg's error turned out to be somewhat anti-climactic. But a decent race between them nonetheless.

Lewis can start anywhere in the top 10 and still whip Nico, especially now that Nico will jump off track to avoid contact, Lewis can use more fuel, so in any race its just a matter of time before he is on Nicos tail waiting for him to crack, as Lewis said 'Nico doesnt like pressure'

I wonder if any of the resident psychotherapists will give us an idea of Nicos mindset :hooli-popcorn:

:irked: geet is missing out in all the fun. I'm beginning to feel as if he's just a fair weather sparring partner. :whip:

whoa whoa whoa!! I resent that :P I'm a couple hours behind on watching the races cuz they start before I get off of work so I'm usually 3 hours behind live. Yeah rosberg really dropped the $#@!*& ball today. Honestly it didn't surprise me tho because hamilton had the pace all weekend over rosberg so it was as expected. Nico really doesn't like long straights with chicanes at the end  he's done the same thing in canada and spa. Hopefully he doesn't do the same at the end of the two long abu dhabi straights at the end of the season! good job to hamilton today coming back from a clunky start with that ERS probably or whatever it was. Still wasn't flawless cuz he locked up once too :rofl::rofl: I gotta take what I can get right

Indeed... little to be had today. But come on, at least Perez represented La Raza!

No doubt!! Dude was dicey today, especially with all that brake dust :hehe: I was really hoping he'd have got magnussen too, but alas, button was enough 8-)

He didn't need to get Magnussen with that penalty.

Top job by Sergio though, loved it. The guy was clearly racing with a vengeance.

It's not cockiness, I'm not a hamilton fan so don't get it confused. I'd also still place the same bet if they were dead even at 200 points because I think rosberg is going to acquire more points over the second half of the season than hamilton.

Ok good so $50 on which one scores more points till the season end

Count me in!

Hey geet, because i am a reasonable chap I am willing to give you a chance to save some money. Already lewis is up 7 points in our 7 race championship, but more alarming for you will be his conclusive demonstration of prowess in every single department - I mean how can you get ahead of your teammate at the start because of his relaibility problem yet be beaten completely? So you must be praying now for problems for lewis to prevent him outscoring Nico in the last 6 races.

So lets do this, you concede right now and only pay $10, or wait till the end of the season and pay the full $50. Or we can double the stake to $100 and restart the championship with 6 races

what do you wanna do?
#416245
I know you want me to pick the $10 so that you have to pay less at the end of the season, but I'm gonna keep it at $50  I expected rosberg to start out on the back foot in monza so no sweat here :drink:
