Going for a proper go kart race with 4 mates in 2 hours time. Woohoo! Winning is the only thing!

If in doubt, do the Maldonado thing, and ram everyone out of the way........

See if you can get a full-on Mark Webber back-flip in there too.

Identity crisis there Lew? McLaren and Williams? You'd be better of going for the full Red Bull look.

:hehe:

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone picked up on it. My signature gives away my true loyalties, but that doesn't mean I cannot have affection for other teams also. I've always liked Williams, and the 2002 BMW Williams is one of my favourite past F1 cars.

In the picture above, it's been driven by Juan Pablo Montoya at Montreal.

I did the Lewis Hamilton thing, I won!!

We did 3 separate sprints with 5 of us competing....I took this green kart and lead out of the pits and 2 guys just flew past me on the straights which really f*cked up my mood, ended up 2nd after 1 guy had a spin. The other guy ended up around 30 seconds ahead of me!! I was like no f*cking way so went and asked the mechanics which karts were the best, and apparently the winner had taken 1 of the 4 elite cars (his was kart no.20) (newer ones).

So Race 2 commences, I take a different one and finish around 8 seconds behind the same guy who won (sticking to his no.20) and was like...okay this guy can drive.

Race 3 commences and I take no.5 (one of the 4 newer ones)...and lead out of the pits first, slow down and let no.20 pass me to see where the f*ck I'm losing out by looking at his lines...and find out I'm faster! Took a lap to get past him and then pulled away, apparently my fastest lap in this race was 2nd best counting the month of July & August 5th on this track. Keeping the printout for a while. :hehe: Especially since this mate of mine is a HUGE Ferrari & Alonso fan and wearing the team shirt...and I was wearing a Lambo shirt, so it was battle royale. :D

Fun stuff...we promised to do this again later this month before I fly off.

should have went for "walrus nose" on the FW26 Lew :hehe: now that was one ugly nose IMO

:hehe:

Legendary stuff, that walrus nose! I remember it well. It took a switch back to the conventional nose for Williams to win in 2004, of course, and then there was a drought until Maldonado did the honours this season. Ahhh, how things work out.......

If anyone's got a pair of colorcode glasses, the 3d ones with amber+blue lenses like they gave out for the superbowl and channel4's 3d week. This is what I've been up to today.

I watched some of the Olympics, including the tennis and the evening runnings events. I also did some work in the garden.

I now have two days of work, before going home to Lancashire for a couple of days. From there, I will spend a week in Scotland with my father and little brother, before returning to Brighton to complete the filming of my latest film.

These next 2 days in the call centre can p!ss off.
