Stoner is pretty much doing what vettel is doing in F1 right now(winning races in dominant fashion)...Too bad the man that has the best chance of beating him got injured(Pedrosa)...IMO, Pedrosa can give stoner a run for his money simply because they have the same bike(Dovi doesn't have mentality to beat stoner)...

Yep, he smashed them in that race, I was amazed to see that Stoner lapped a few other riders, that really doesn't happen that much in MotoGP. Hopefully Spies is okay, didn't see what happened to him but he had to go to the medical centre. MotoGP can't afford to lose anymore riders, there falling like flies at the moment, It could be the last man standing at the end of the championship.

if Simoncelli wants to win a MotoGP race, this is his best chance as Stoner doesn't look to be on it this weekend, maybe that crash in practice has slow him down a couple of tenths which can happen. should be a good race tomorrow.

surprise surprise! simoncelli took out another rider because of too much aggression...

Oh well, at least spies is currently leading the race...

Awesome to see Spies take his first win in Motogp. congrats :thumbup: Glad to see Spies get his first win before Simoncelli got his. Silly mistake from Marco as this has happened before and should of learnt his lesson beforehand, you can't push to hard till you get the Brigdestone tyre up to temp. Its so easy too come off when the tyre is cold.

I think Bridgestone need a tyre that heats up better. So far too many riders are coming off and some even missing races due to injury, the MotoGP field is small enough as it is and really can't lose anymore riders in a already small field.

It was amazing how many riders crashed in the moto 2 race...

It was. And equally amazing that lorenzo thinks Marco should get a race ban for falling off.....No one else should get one mind, only Marco :wink:

I'm a lorenzo fan but his ban comment was too much IMO...
Maybe he made those comments because he was too pissed(the same way stoner was pissed when rossi took him out)...

I kinda feel bad for marco...He's a good rider but he's just too impatient at times....Trying a difficult maneuver when your tyres are cold and when the field is tightly packed is way too risky...he should have just waited for the right opportunity(he would have overtaken lorenzo anyway considering how well marco's bike was performing)

Not sure what Lorenzo is thinking... race ban... please!! Marco just made a mistake on cold tyres. end of discussion.

Anyway this weekend we see Pedrosa back racing again which is good to see. Rossi returns to the track where he injured himself last year. And i think Ducati could get a podium result on there home track with the testing that they been doing at Mugello for the 2012 bike, Rossi's current bike is pretty much half 2011 parts mixed with 2012 parts so keep a close eye on Rossi.

Yes its an interseting thing Rossi and Ducatti are doing, i really hope he sorts that bike. Simoncelli was fastest in practice, that boy has talent!! Hope he sticks in there. And pedrosa back, I wonder how he will go?

I just don't see ducati contending this year....It's rossi's 1st yr and development takes time....I hope they perform well next season (the yamaha-honda domination is getting boring)...

I agree. But I think the Ducati team and Rossi are being clever they know the championship is not up for contention this year..maybe a race win, but not hte championship. So theyre using this year as an opportunity to test and develop next years bike.

I really think it will be a good fight in the race between Stoner, Simoncelli, Spies and Lorenzo. hopefully a dry race, don't really won't a repeat of Silverstone where the field was spread out and no battles out on track.
