As I’ve said previously the greatness of a champion has a lot to do with his performance under maximum pressure. I believe this is valid for F1 and for many other sports. The last stages when you are closely fighting with your rivals, when any mistake can take you out of the fight are the most important of all. Improving or worsening your performance in those important moments marks the difference between a good driver and a true champion.

Andrew Benson is pretty unbiased, in my opinion of course.

Massa moving over for him in Germany isn't indicative Alonso's a poor driver.

I agree with you and there are not many like him.

nobody said that, nobody implied that and nobody thought that, this and other topics are on whetjer he can be judged best ofnseason, so
stop crying and read the avtual posts (properly) it seems everyone that isnt an alonso fan will male constant digs at anything otherwise and alonso
fans make constant digs at anything likewise. alonso not only didnt won tje title
( for whatever reasons indont care so dont gimme excuses)
but he is undoubtesdly the most arrogant amd/or bad sporting driver in f1, if he wasnt the best driver on the grid hed be kicked out already, for those two reasons specifically he should not be no.1 neither should lewis before you undoubtedly turn this on
him like every othern time, rosberg, kubica, vettel or webber
should be top clearly.

You said this: ahajaha rofl, telling us hughes reeks of bias then showing us what i presume you think is an
unbias article and it doesnt even mentuion seven points he gained through cheating

My point is, Massa moving over for Alonso just wasn't relevant to the article, which is why he didn't mention it. Him mentioning it, would've been a indication of bias to me.

Alonso got third in Abu Dhabi quali after an obstructed out lap.

Your telling me Alonso wasn't at his strongest towards the backend of this season?

Why do you believe that Alonso is the most arrogant and bad sporting driver in F1. I think I have a closest image from him than you and probably more accurate. You have a perception of Alonso through all those journalists that you’re calling biased. Everything comes from 2007 when Alonso was at McLaren, since then everything that Alonso makes or says has a different treatment than if there were another driver. You should know that.
He has made mistakes as anybody else. But he isn’t arrogant at all, unless the journalist asks him if he’s a dirty champion or questions like that. On track he´s one of the fairest drivers. For example, when has him create an incident while overtaking or been overtaken.
Could you compare him with Michael Schumacher? Or even with Lewis Hamilton when he “closes the door” as he says, sending the other driver outside the track while everybody smiles and says: Oh, what a boy!

Alonso just goes off track when he tries to pass. He hasnt got the skill.

Maybe you didn’t watch the last race at Monaco, when supposedly it’s almost impossible to overtake. He did a very nice demonstration about overtaking.
I see you have changed your avatar. Nice from you Bud. Thank you.

He did his overtaking in the pit lane at Monte Carlo.

And I changed it because I was feeling ill with so much Fernando Alonso imagery on my profile :hehe:

I see you’re illness has also affected your memory. I’m sorry for you. Please care about your health and don’t drink so much. At least until you’re fully recovered. Best wishes. And don’t think too much in Fernando Alonso it could prolong your period of convalescence.
