That was a great race!! Williams have proved that their progress in Valencia wasn't a flash in the pan with the blown diffuser working well. I was tense in the final laps as I so badly wanted Hulkenberg to nail Schumi.

I am SO glad Webber won this race. Take that, Vettel, you can keep your new nose. Karma's a bitch, huh? :hehe: Also, what the hell happened to Alonso? I mean, he knows he should've let Kubica pass. That was so stupid and unecessary--he could've had a much better race. Loved how Button came back from behind, excellent job for the Strategist. Hamilton drove a good race too, rather boring, but solid. Vettel hitting Sutil to pass him? Not classy. Also felt pretty bad for Massa, I like him a lot, what bad luck to get a puncture...

Go McLaren!

Be nice to see Vettel get a time penalty or grid penalty or something. I would say that about whomever did this, nothing against Vettel.

Not saying Alonso shouldn't have got penalized in some way but the effect of the penalty seems disproportionate to the crime. Yeah it was just dumb luck about the safety car , OTOH does Mansell have a cork in his butt about Alonso? Also who is that guy and what has he done with Nigel Mansell?

I saw the race on a delay since it wasn't aired till 12 EDT, (I hate FOX) so I had to stay away from the internet and this forum. GREAT start and great first couple of laps very exciting. Looks like there was some passing as Silverstone after all, esp in the new section.

Phenomenal job by williams, was cheering the Rubens the whole race, Kobayashi was solid, and a great result for him. Vettel... well I was wrong, he didn't screw up pole last race, he saved that for this race. Man is this guy making enemies.
Button, consistency payed off and whatever was going on with the car yesterday was sorted for the race. Hamilton, drove like a good race, probably kept pinching himself after the start when Webber and he had 20 seconds on the field.

Alonso... WTF he just imploded today, horrible start, you'd think from the clean line that wouldn't' have happened. Pretty much lost it there and just kept getting worse. Masha, I just feel bad for the guy. Lastly a big kudos to Lotus for a solid race esp in fron of the English fans.

Surely this is a bigger issue than McLaren's failure :p?

You would think so wouldn't you.

Could you imagine if this had happened with McLaren. Button getting the new front wing from Hamilton after breaking his. :hehe:

Or in Ferrari? Massa has his new front wing taken from him for Alonso who broke his!? Would love to read what RC would have to say about that.

RC would say exactly the same as she said when it happenned to Webber. A poor show!

Anyway justice prevailed :)

I blame the team more than Vettle, I think Webber does too.

Race was brill! whole weekend was brill. I watched from the new grandstand at becketts and could also see them coming round that new bit of track really clearly. Amazing place to watch. When lewis finishd he drove off the track on the victory lap and came right past the Becketts Grandstand (he'd seen me waving to him on the drivers parade earlier :D:D:P )
Loved Vettel going off!! And his interview was hilarious when he said 'i think everyone was cheering for me when i was going round on my own, or maybe a McLaren was nearby but i think they were cheering for me'. Well you got it partly right seb, the grandstand I was in was cheering cos you'd gone off! And many were giving you the finger...the one you like to thrust at the camera :rofl: So glad that if lewis couldnt win that mark did after that dirty trick red bull played. Jens and Lewis did phenomenal! New track is a definate improvement. Sigh! Got a whole year to wait now for the next one....and the prices have gone up!!
I'll try to post some pics later...but I'm a bad photographer.

Christian Horner needs to grab his two boys by their ears, drag them behind the woodshed and beat them both simultaneously till he's too weak to stand (being certain Webber gets his fair share; wouldn't want he should feel short-changed). Those two are as bad as Prost and Senna and the only thing that could prevent one of them winning the WDC and RBR winning the WCC is those two ninnies.

I think Horner and his Austrian bosses are the ones who want dragging behind the wood shed!

When you look at the speed of the cars, it's amazing they're not leading the WDC and WCC. If Red Bull was a cop he'd be the one limping from having shot himself in the foot.

I remember the time I did that...
